Don't know about you but when I think of an ambassador, I think of someone who is successful, respected and well liked.

Like UT's current ambassador, Peyton Manning.

He's a major league prick with an ever present sense of entitlement.

I liked the guy, and was an apologist until the Akron game. I knew these stories, but they really didn't bother me because I liked Dooley's public persona, and the clean image he fostered for our program.

None of that changes what primadonna he is in person...by every account a tyrant. That is why he won't be retained in any capacity by this University.

You and I agree. I could absolutely be slammed in a thread like this because in all honestly until the MSU game I really wanted the guy to succeed, still do really. I just finally said eff it he isn't for whatever reason. I'll say this he never had a great situation here. In the end if we have Gruden and lots of success that may turn out to be fortunate for us fans. In other scenarios I think he's got enough skill that he could have hung around 5-6 years before getting let go.

There will be no horseplay in the showers at anytime. There will never be any staph infections, our players will look clean and I will personally raise the bar for shower standards across the nation. :peace2:

No I believe the point was that there is no way in hell the ad would keep him around in any other capacity. Dooley being head coach discussion is no longer a topic. That is done.

No...there was wishful thinking by some that we should keep him in the AD in some capacity. That is all.

His sh@tty attitude has done nothing to help him....but the losing definitely cut his throat.
