We don't have to settle. I remember people saying Alabama's best days were gone, but what did they do? They paid for a stud coach and look what happened. We should do the same, give Gruden whatever he wants to get him here and better days are ahead.

The saddest part about this particular Dooley supporter is the fact that he is a former player that was on the three SEC Championship teams under Johnny Majors. A champion accepting losing. I can't stomach that.

I remember driving home from UT/UF bball game in winter of 07, Pearl's second year, and the national show came on 990. The guy was talking about how well Pearl had done at UT and how he was gone after that year. He was clueless, a West coast guy that had no idea Pearl just got big raise and UT was upgrading facilities and just swept the national champ in front of 20k plus fans. It was absolute ignorance, talking about how UT was a stepping stone and he'd never stay there or go far. Some of those guys just make it up as they go along

Was at that game. One of the loudest men's games I've been to at Thompson Bowling.

And shenanigans is hip again. I think. Green Day used it as the title of their album a few years back. That has to count for something, right?
