That is my whole point. We have lost to 4 good teams and beaten 1. Sure, we could have beaten Florida and Miss St, but at least get behind the coach and team and maybe they beat South Carolina and the rest. All this negativity affects the attitude needed to win out.

I just got back home. Chizik came in to a better situation, has a much better roster, and has won a game n overtime. I think a lot of our "fans" really don't want us to win out, because Dooley might keep his job.

the players and coaches shouldn't give two sh%#'s less about what is being said in messages boards and on twitter etc..., Go out there, be prepared and win some football games.

Up until this point they haven't done that. He has only managed to beat UK and Vandy in the SEC. It embarrassing, I went to both the NC state game and Florida screamed and yelled for my team.

But you have to call it what it is, for the money that has been invested in this program, (stadium, training facilities etc.... the product that we have put on the field is not up to par IMO.

Beat me to it.. He has had some bad luck though... Best ark team ever last year, best msu team ever this year, best usce teams ever, lsu, bama, uf, uga who have all had top 10/15 teams.. He's had terrible luck with schedules...

Why couldn't we have had aub or ark this freaking year???

At the possibility of irking some of you, if Dooley goes 7-5, goes to a bowl and wins, being a lawyer by training he'll argue for a contract extension and prolly get it based on this year's progress over last. He'll also tout the rankings of the teams he has lost too. Lastly, he'll stroke the fires of the dismantling of a promising recruiting class in '13 if he's replaced.

Ask yourself bout this 2-year run and substitute another coach/school and ask yourself - would you fire the coach? To go from 5-7 to 7-5 with a bowl win? I believe most would say "No". Given him another year to get to 9+ wins.

You may not agree, but remove the emotionalism and look at it objectively. We ALL want to win - yesterday. Being a Vol fan since '74 I certainly understand.

If winning 4 straight to go to a meaningless bowl saves Dooley's job, I don't want to win.
