Official Jon Gruden Thread III

If Gruden publicly denies the rumor that he is coming to Tennessee but specifically mentions volnation.com while doing it, can we claim a moral victory?

I don't worry about on the hour news, what makes me worry is other posters who are also "credible" are saying the exact opposite.
Pick a side or straddle the fence. If it's all BS and Dooley is here another year, this thread will be the greatest single source of enjoyment that most of us are likely to derive from Vol football for a long, long time. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Well. If he denied it and has accepted, wouldn't that make him look like a liar. It's better for all if everything is correct to say nothing.

If he denies, and then takes the job, it looks bad. And ESPN is not going to ask any questions.
Yeap. My point is, it is not a bad thing both sides have been silent. jmo

I have 0 worry Dooley will be here next year. All I'm thinking about now is who is next.

Silence from UT and Gruden could be all the signs that a fan needs to know, like some have said already, if there were not serious interest from both sides than one of them would come forward and refute the rumor.
