Just relax everyone. Ask yourselves this, is the AD denying any of the Gruden talk? It's all over local and national media. Is the AD denying Dooley being fired? All over the media too.
I'm not backing away one inch from my statements. Boro, Jay, OV aren't either. The fact is, there is nothing left to say.
At the risk of just adding another month to everyone's fantasy, that makes sense, because I doubt the NCAA would be excited about a college coach hosting MNF every week. I don't know for sure that it's against NCAA rules, but it seems like it would be.
Whether or not an announcement on CDD comes next week, things are going to get progressively crazier.

He doesn't have to. As someone else pointed out, it's not like he has a regular press conference that puts him in front of media members who will ask him about it.

I think people need to realize there is not new news every 15 minutes. At this point it is entirely possible to have all the news we are going to have till after the SC game with a loss, and possible after Kentucky should we somehow get lucky and beat SC.
"I was on here an hour ago and saw he is coming, but now I am depressed because no new news in the last hour and he is now not coming" said no sane person......EVER.
Maybe, but this has been blowing up on twitter since yesterday and several news outlets have been on it. USA Today had an article about it.
While he is always linked to jobs and he rarely comments on it, this isn't an ordinary situation. It has been reported that he has ACCEPTED a position at a major program.
Valid or not, that type of rampant speculation is not usually allowed to go on for this long without a response.
Right, I have kind of became ehh of the whole thing but someone has had to of ask him about it by now and if it wasnt true, he wouldnt care if it got out. no?
