Why don't you expound on this thought.
Well we're not throwing deep balls that are being caught anyway.. Might as well see what he's got.. Smarter decisions would have won us a couple of games earlier in the year.. If he just makes smart decisions Bray won't see the field again this year.. Bray better remove his head from his azz pretty quick, or he'll be a spectator the rest of the year..
Why? We're not getting nothing out of Bray except picks and bad decisions.. He's cost us a couple of games by himself.. He's killing the team with bonehead decisions..
All he has to do is hit his checkdowns... Bray doesn't know what that is.. I say Worley has a better head on his shoulders... That's about all Tennessee needs right now.. Someone who won't piss away the game...Yet a guy who hasn't shown any ability to be better that's being coached by what looks to be the worst Tennessee coaching staff in recent memory is the answer?

Bray has proved he's a half wit.. I'm taking the odds Worley isn't...
I'll expound for you, since you appear to be one of the people I'm talking about.
In this thread, you've got people saying Bray has earned nothing but clipboard-holding duty, a quote along the lines of "I can see how people might think Bray is shaving points", and implying Worley would be a better quarterback because of his high school accolades.
Again, I will bring up what I've said before- Worley looked much worse than Bray last season when Worley played.
Let's break this down a bit, according to the general idea I'm seeing on the board:
1. Bray is more talented than Worley, he's just a headcase
and
2. The coaches suck, are idiots, etc.
If the coaches are so terrible, what makes anyone think they can take a guy with less talent and make him better than the starter with more talent? Worley would, at best, give a quick burst of enthusiasm to the offense for a series or two. Once things settled down, he'd get reamed much worse than Bray. There is a reason he isn't the starter, despite what you or anyone else thinks about the coaches.
Ok you do realize that Worley was a true freshman when he was pressed into action. He played against 3 of the best teams in the country. He was killed by Bama, which we got killed the previous year, but they went on to win the national title. Then it was USC and we lost in a semi close game in which Da'Rick dropped a td in the end zone. Then we when to Arky and got a drubbing but that was a BCS team as well. So to say he looked bad last year is a matter of opinion. He may have put up big stats against one of the lesser programs.
To your point about the coaching staff not having him prepared, maybe he listens. We don't have any idea if Tyler takes to heart anything the staff says. What if Worley has listened and taken this past year to get better and learn? You don't want to give him one chance to show what he can do? Considering how the season has gone do we really have anything to lose?
These coaches suck anyway.. I don't think Bray returns next year.. If he gets 3rd or 4th round grade he's gone.. They need to be getting their next guy ready.. If it isn't Worley then Peterman.. Bray has had his time and it hasn't worked out.. Time to turn the page..From his limited exposure to major college football in which he was mediocre at best? You can't just assume things.
I'm still wondering why you think the coaches that have aided in the wreckage of one highly-touted quarterback recruit somehow managed to keep the other one in better condition.

The qb is the face of almost all teams like it or not. Bray may have been better on a more stable team that was't having to rebuild . You need a guy that is going to make some plays when the play that is called has not went as planed ,not just throw it in the stands as the second read.
This year is f'd anyway.. We've already lost all the games that matter. They're probably going to lose a couple more at least.. I'm not sure they make a bowl game... This team is pitiful... You got to get your next guy some game time...So eff the rest of the year, let's go ahead and risk throwing away a couple games, right?
The coaches suck, right. But Worley will be better than Bray under the same guys.

After a couple of Bray bonehead mistakes he'll be in there.. Then Bray will be watching from the sidelines the rest of the year...You claim Worley has less talent as a quarterback. Talent covers much more than arm strength. For example, decision making and composure are two attributes that would be included in "talent". No one knows at this point if Worley will play better than Bray, but it is time to find out. We haven't seen enough of him this year. I don't think Worley will start the game, but I expect to see him play a substantial part of it.
