Ok, I understand that Dooley would have a hard time living under JG shadow. I was just trying to fathom what could be so on the qt.

I've fought my instincts and always tried to look for signs that CDD was turning the corner. Looking back on it all though, I can't believe I was ever able look over the LSU debacle in 2010. That was the clearest picture possible that he's in the wrong end of the pool.

CP affected the game in numerous ways. Although I don't think he had a great game, he was very productive. 25+ yds average on kickoff returns is game-changing. Against a team like Bama, determining field position is huge.

I didnt say Sentimore didnt play well. I just dont agree he was so called" balling out" like Breaker suggested. I watch the game and I saw Sentimore have 1 sack, 1 solo tackle and 2 QB hurries. It was his best game of the season and I agree the other players didnt play as hard as he did.

USCe is better than Miss State and their bad front 7, and we lost their place.... They also have the best defensive player in college football. I don't share the optimism.

Kinda funny you're the only Bama fan I know that has said Sentimore didn't ball out for us. Stats don't show what he did Saturday. He played like I expected him to play all year for us.

How confident are you about this? I really hope this is true. This is the biggest thing I worry about.

I like Dooley, wish he was our guy, but if they let him go, I understand.

My big thing now is we have almost half a season to go and a lot of program pride to play for. I hope the players can see past the distractions and focus on winning out. We can still have a respectable year.

There's not a game in November that I could endure losing.

I grew up in Kingsport Thunder and have a few Fraternity brothers in college from Erwin. They are a couple years younger than you though.

Offensive gameplan:

- WR screens/slants till they man up and press to stop it
- Motion backs out for short passes in the flats also isolate the tight end
- Then take your shot downfield

Am I simplifying things too much? I feel like we could literally run 10 straight screens to CP with JH11 in the opposite slot running a slant to CP's side and a back/TE rolling out to the opposite flat and Bray could get a first down every play. Drives me crazy we never see screens to our best playmaker, I'm really starting to feel like BB about this.

Did anyone in Nashville hear Hubbs this morning? Mark Howard said they Hubbs said Dooley had lost the team. I can't imagine Hubbs saying this, even if true.

I'd appreciate any clarification.

I didn't listen but elivol on VQ does weekly breakdowns of Hubbs Wednesday morning radio spot. Here's this mornings breakdown...

tuff times right now. coaches and admin trying to figure out what is real and not real. interested to see how focus. what is the truth to the rumors.

USC game? needs to win games to stay the coach and next one on list is USC. still variables in play but with each loss doesnt guarantee anything. Miss St game was a needed win. Huge dissappoitment on all fronts after that loss. USc has stumbled last two weeks.

Hart making decsion sooner or later? Hart must decide on the body of work on Dooley since Hart has been there. If Hart does not have the belief that CDD can win in SEC then he must make a decision. A win againt Troy will not have a bearing. Dooley simply has not won enough.

Bray situation: short leash comment was a feeling of frustarion from CDD. was not good saturday from the get go. OL gave him time but he was not pateint. Not talking to media frustrated the coaches. When it gets hard Tylers bad habits come up.

Frank rambling......energy of the team: having a hard time seeing this team focus. was flat on Monday. better on Tuesday. players know what is being said on social media. real challenge for the players to focus on USC. USC is in dire need for win and they will be ready to play.

Ol confidence: When Worley is in we dont miss a beat? Teamates attitude towards Tyler? FL game OL went to coaches and really wanted to put the ball in OL hands and RB's instead of slinging it around. Team believes in Justin. OL belives they are the best unit on team.

TN has best OL in SEC outside of Bama: coaches came out and said they should of run more during FL. Coaches have adjusted and running more. bottom line you cant turn it over 10 times in SEC games and win. can't win when you TO 3 times in 4th qrtr against GA. explosive plays are down. they TO saturday they will lose again.

anger of former players concerning late FG against Bama: former players where embarressed. didnt think it was a good decision. finished off the embaressment. former players where stunned by number of Bama fans in stands. One player said "that's not my place".

Hunter's dissappointment: not focused at times. people in his ear about his future. dealing with his knee as well. resume shows he has not gone against big time DB's. pressing and lacks confidence. interesting to see if they can get him on track. Justins's tweet didnt help. dont put it out there if its not a big deal.
