"This is not a family"

Eric, you've spent the whole night arguing your point?

Either you really don't think you're wrong or

You know you're wrong but dug the hole too deep so you gotta keep going or

You're trolling.

I know wright if you are going to call out the players you better call out those questionable play calls and he never indicates he makes bad decisions at all. It's ok to call em sometimes but Come on man you are the HC some of it is on you:banghead2:

Did you not see the earlier post that pointed out his comments on doing a better job of coaching? He put it on himself and the staff way before this comment. Watch the whole presser...utsports.com.

Bray hasn't exactly gotten any of our WRs the ball in great positions in conference play either. I will say that drop against Bama was on Justin should have caught, but it was behind him and on the hip, which isn't exactly an easy catch running full stride.

What about the drops versus FL, GA, and Miss St.?

In reading what he said, sure seemed like an eloquent cheap shot to me. That's just me though.

I read the whole quote, it appeared to me that in a round about way Dooley told him he needs to stop being scared and play like a WR should. If he doesn't like his coach calling him out now, well he will be in for a rude awakening in the NFL, better hope Parrcells doesn't come back and start call JH "That player" or "her".

Also when does player accountability come in? You can only tell a kid so much before you throw your hands up because he just doesn't seem to care. He's alligator armed so many passes this year it's crazy.

Plus like another poster said, maybe Dooley has tried talking to him and Bray behind closed doors, and finally did what he thinks needs to be done. Either JH and Bray will respond and play lights out against SC or or they will prove Dooley right and play scared or throw multiple INTs.

I really don't see why anyone should have any problem with Dooley's comments about Hunter or Bray. They were spot on. And the play of Hunter and Bray reflects bad coaching at the highest level.

Which is where Dooley should have left it, not in the hands of two offensive players. In fact, why even call out a single offensive player right now, when your defense is still giving up points to UGA, Miss. St, and Bama??

What about the poor passing from Bray??

Football is a team sport, so pointing out one player, especially your best player, never really gets the result your hoping for.

He said if TB continues to be loose with the football, he'll put JW in... Go watch the whole thing on utsports.com.

I don't want to watch the whole thing. I've watched the majority of his press conferences for almost 3 years, and he still thinks he's the smartest man in the room. Someone needs to call him out.

Bray and Hunter need to man up and play "big boy" football. That's what they came for , that's what they should do. I see no difference in the crappy defense in SEC play and the crappy play of the "skilled" players on offense. Look at Bray's stats in the SEC. He needs to be accountable as well as the coaching staff.

99.9 percent of the time he is the smartest in the room. This is Knoxville media we are talking about

No, Dooley should keep his mouth shut and act like he has some class.

CDD has class and has played the position, too. He knows what it takes and is challenging Hunter...If he can't take this from CDD--he'll NEVER make it in the NFL! And he's not saying anything that I haven't heard the announcers say for the last two ballgames about big players have to come up with big plays! Hunter had his opportunity to catch a ball that any HS receiver could catch--and he wants to whine and cry because his head coach calls his out for it??

GROW UP!

When he didn't catch that ball he looked crushed too...I'm one for saying it like it is, but the dude is playing hard for us.

We may have our critiques of him, and yeah, I'll admit that he's not lived up to my personal expectations this year.

However, I'm sure he wants to catch them all.

He's not in the NFL right now, and he's still leading the team in receptions, receiving TDs, and receiving yards. The guy throwing the ball has more problems than Hunter. Bray hasn't been in rhythm in an SEC game all season, and playing a skill position like WR, it's widely dependent on how your QB is playing.
