"This is not a family"

Wait until Gruden gets here

Instant success and no dropped passes as long as he is here

Hes that good

He will also never say anything negative to anyone. He will only say that it is his fault. And if anyone insults him for that, then he will say that that was his fault, too.

It doesn't matter who has played like what, you don't call our your players, or criticize their development in front of the media. Again, if stating fact is what we are getting at here, what's to stop his players from telling him he don't know what he's doing, or telling him that his development is where it needs to be?? That's fact, right??

I guess the fact that when my coaches told me what to do and I didn't do it we got JACKED UP with a fore arm would make you physically ill. I don't think Dooley taught him not to catch the ball in traffic when the game is on the line. How in the hell is that the coaches fault? I would think they didn't work on ALLIGATOR ARM catches in practice. Maybe he should jump higher to compensate for the length he loses in his arms when he does that. I guarantee the DB's in the NFL are faster and hit harder than the MSU DB's. He can jump out of the stadium and catch like a champ...just not with his hands covering his chest and his knees buckled because he doesn't want to get hit.

my message was i want the vols to succeed and hunter as well. apparently he doesn't care. oh well. i was surprised he even responded. like i said his mom doesn't seem to happy with him at the vol walk.

Of course he doesn't care, you're just some anonymous jerk off cluttering his Facebook page.

well good for you volly. not sure what the beef is you have with me. but anyway. as far as call him out i don't care i want us to succeed. if you all don't like it i don't know what to tell you.

After reading a couple of your posts, it's easy to see why VG (or anybody) would have a beef with your posts.

For one thing, your posts don't make much sense. And calling out a VOL player on facebook is beyond crossing the line. Sometimes fans just need to know when to STFU...especially you.

I think the beef has to do with the direct criticism of a UT player that is representing the Orange and White.

There may be unhappiness with his play, but ultimately, no one knows the effort he puts in but him. Likewise, no one knows how much he cares but him.

I'm sure JH11 doesn't like to drop balls/lose games. He is also still leading us in receptions and yards.

I really like Justin Hunter - I support all the Vol players and would never say anything negative about these kids, but truth of the matter is, if you drop balls in the NFL, they simply don’t throw it to you anymore ...

He'll come around though, and i think he'll be great

... Unless your name is dez bryant. They just won't stop throwing that guy the ball.

What is a facebook even for? I notice some people think you cant say something to a player. But why do people have them if they are not for communicating with a wide range of folks. It seems like you would just use a phone if you were only talking to the folks in your circle. I guess UT football players have certain regulations or whatnot. Interesting situation.

Ah, Dooley throwing players under the bus. That's something we haven't seen before.

The coach can't do much more than tell them how to line up and what routes to run so that the receivers get open. Alligator arms and drops are all on the players. JH needs to be called out on it after it happens in 4 consecutive conference games.

I like the fact that he calls a spade a spade. He does the same to himself by saying there is no need to explain it. They just need to win. Just win.

He's led the team in receiving yards, 3 of the 4 SEC games we have played. He also had an amazing catch against UF, going above 2 defenders, IIRC. The were going away from me in the stadium, so I didn't see perfectly.

That one was awesome...but it was the only time he's done it in conference play. I expected to see a lot of that this year. He has flat a$$ dropped several balls in key situations.

Do you argue with your wife when she says she wants to get on top?

Bray hasn't exactly gotten any of our WRs the ball in great positions in conference play either. I will say that drop against Bama was on Justin should have caught, but it was behind him and on the hip, which isn't exactly an easy catch running full stride.

let's tell Dooley how it is also.

Coach Dooley you have no business being a HC in the SEC. You are completely over your head in this league and you are an arsse to boot. You will forever be known as one of the worst coaches in Tennessee's storied history. Your record as a HC speaks for itself and you will most likely never be at the helm of another FBS program. Your players don't respect you and neither do a number of your former coaches. Your last day as a Volunteer will not come too soon. Good riddance to you.

The CB had fallen down. He had both hands on the ball and he let it get to his body and he dropped it because he was worried about the safety coming over.

He's hearing footsteps every time he goes to make a catch and it has cause lots of drops. It's not just the long balls either. He's dropped a number of short 3rd down passes that hit him between the numbers.

Maybe he has said it privately to JH for the last month and it didn't work...time to ratchet it up?

You can sugar coat it and lie to a kid or you can tell him the truth. I see no harm in telling him the truth. Constructive criticism

If it didn't work in private, it most likely won't work with him watching his coach question his "want" to be a great receiver in front of the media circus in Knoxville.

Telling him the truth is not what I see a problem with, it's the forum he tried to convey it in, especially after it's not been a problem until Bama waxed us by 31.

I wouldn't pretend to know what he has said to any of them behind close doors you may be correct.

IMO, whatever he is saying at this point (and maybe even further back) has not worked, and the point is really moot.

So then why do you continue to argue it?

:banghead2: ?

Does it matter?? As a player, do you want to see your coach questioning your ability to a bunch of guys with cameras, even if he has done it behind closed doors?? I wouldn't be happy with it, because that's something he needs to come to me and talk about, not the guys with a scratch pad and a voice recorder.

He wasn't questioning his ability. He was challenging his effort and heart.
