Maybe not as many, but we definitely have sec caliber players on the dline and lb.
Need more in the secondary and LB. Our DL will be SEC caliber throughout the 2 deep next year if we get Toby. Our OL might be the best in the SEC next year, at least the starting 5. Honestly I'd rather have elite DL and OL than WR and CB, if I had to choose. Both is needed, but having a great DL next year beyond the starters will be incredible. Obrien and Johnson and Bradley and Phillips would possibly be some of the best backup DL players around.
I get that a lot.
I was born on the West coast and grew up a HUGE Dodger fan. Moved to Atlanta in the Summer of 94 when I was 13 and fell in love with everything about this city, including the Braves. I still pull for both teams.
Back to TJ, he needs to be a Dawg.
We need back seven help on defense in a hurry.
The safeties are a major problem.
McNeil is a nice start and I hope one of JRM, Miles, or Bell can step up next year.
B.Randolph will be back but we don't know how he'll recover yet.
The CBs need help and Bell(why he's a major get) can help there too.
Garland would help out too if we go ahead and take him.
Tino Thomas, Coleman, Bonner, and D.Gray will really need to grow up for us. I think Coleman as a junior will be one of our better CBs in recent years.
Yep, as a recruiting coordinator. That really helped us out with the players from Grayson, they're all headed to Clemson.
You see, Dooley is a dam genius and out tricked richt with his mind. Everybody knows clem$on can outbid any situation. Dooley didn't fight that battle... Y'all tried
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Vol loss = Nick Serious
Sorry guys. It must've gone over everybody's head. I'll go into "Nick Serious" mode to get the point across.
There were references that Dooley hiring former Hutchinson coach Staley was maybe a little bit shady, since we landed Patterson and have several Hutch commits this year. The question was than asked to UGAinsider, about UGA hiring Robert Nkemdiche (sp) coach as their recruiting coordinator. He then commented that it had not done them any good.
I referenced the classic thread, "Reasons we fixin to whip Georgias ass this year!!", specifically, reason #13, "Coach Dooley is a damn smart genius and is gone out trick coach Mark Rich with his mind." I thought, with the Georgia game being in recent memory, the connection would have been made.
The reason Dooley "out tricked" Richt was because Dooley knows that Clemson is dirty and pays for their players. Richt tried to hire Robert Nkemdiche's coach to lure him to UGA, but of course that would not work, because Clemson has more powerful mojo (cash). Dooley played it safe, pursuing a player who was not considering Clemson, thus assuring that his move would land him Patterson.
Hopefully, my friends, this will clarify my rather vague attempt at humor this past week. I apologize for any confusion and disappoint. :hi:
It is good enough if your getting SEC D Lineman and Linebackers. We are getting the skill players, just not the guys that win championships in this league.
Great explanation, now I understand.Sorry guys. It must've gone over everybody's head. I'll go into "Nick Serious" mode to get the point across.

-UF's Rival Site"I'm going to go to a Mississippi school - out of Mississippi State and Ole Miss, a Florida school - out of Florida and Miami, then Nebraska, then Georgia and that's all I know so far."
"Playing time. I want to see teams win and want to go to a place that will take me to the next level."
Relax this kid is a VOL this reminds me of Patterson too much. Hubbs said on John and Jimmay that once a kid from Hutchinson committs to a school that the coaches do not let them take any more visits which is why Patterson didn't committ until signing day, and probably why Toby Johnson hasn't yet. He probably just wants to make sure and get all of his visits in I wouldn't worry about this kid too much.
