I've been too frustrated since this morning to get back on here, would anyone mind filling me on any developments (i.e. injury updates, depth chart changes, coaching rumors, etc.)

Rumor that Hart put out some feelers to some coaches today. One of them being a coach that is unemployed. Most assume that coach is Gruden.

Another thing I found interesting from last nights game, when Neal & Lane went down w/ their injuries we had to rely on Young, Watson, CP, & Howard in the run game. I think that may be a very telling indicator on Tom Smiths future at UT. He may be one of the guys that transfers out after the season.

This is the only elaboration I will give:

I can confirm that through back channels, at least one coach has been contacted. He is not currently coaching a team. There is interest.

And the other piece of the puzzle is that Jimmy Sexton has been busy making calls.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Smith transfers. I don't think he's played a down all season.

We need more depth at RB. Is there any update on if Lane/Neal will be available this week?

Yes, Jimmy Sexton is CDD's agent not Gruden's. I think that SBV meant he's busy trying to find CDD a new job.

IF, big if, the Tennessee job does come open - it would be the best available job during this coaching carousel.... as long as Texas doesn't make a move.
