Just for arguments sake, if Gruden came here next season and went 8-4, I don't think anyone would call for his head. At least anyone in their right mind considering it would be a better record than Dooley ever managed here. You would see a fair number of fans wanting him replaced, unfairly so, after the first year with "only" an 8-4 to show for it considering the hype that would surround such a hire. After 3 we would be right where we are now with this discussion.

So, you think we should easily win 10 next year? Oregon, bama, Florida, Georgia?
Yeah I'm f**ked up.
For the record, yes, I am a little f**ked up atm.You misunderstood me. It don't bother me if gruden is our coach next year - and if he is, hell we could go 0-40 and I would stand behind the grudes simply because he is our head coach and building, or going through the process of building his legacy. Kinda like dooley is doing now. Is his record good? Hell no. Can it get better,,,,,time will tell.
