What I was told earlier was that it pretty much doesn't matter what he does because of the agreement for the next guy.

Do you think they could justify making a change if we win atleast 8 games? I don't think they could, if he gets 8 wins I think he gets another year.

gruden would want at least $5-6 million per season. With all the millions in buyout money paid to dooley, etc., I don't think UT could afford that right now.

Yea if they know for sure they can get Gruden 8 wins probably wouldn't be enough.

Millions in buyout money? Really? He only has one year remaining on his contract after this season, and without an extension, he'd be backed into a corner...just like Jeff Fisher was when Bud Adams refused to give him one.

If we thought there was a mass exodus last year, it'll look like a ghost town this time around.

She's doing well. My wife said she was doing really good this morning. We all got a full nights rest, first one this week which was good.

Yeah,I used to take benadryl for allergies when I was a kid(a long time ago), and it always knocked me out for a while.

The problem with that thought is he only has one year left on his contract. Pretty rare to send a coach into his last season without an extension. Hard to keep a coaching staff together when they have their backs against the wall. That's why you had the mass exodus last year. Dooley was lucky to have survived that.

I don't see an extension given for a 3yr record of ineptness in the SEC. One win over USCjr wouldn't change that. It would still be a tough decision, but IF Hart has some good options on hand, then I think he may want to just go ahead and make a change for the sake of bringing his own man in.

I think Strong would certainly be an attractive candidate and doable for this program (might even be able to bring his QB along with him)

Damn that's too bad - if only one of the boosters would promise to cover Dooley's buy out - oh wait.. One has.
