I doubt that very many see my posts on here, because I work for a living and can't be on here patrolling for the nega vols, but it is just what I say time after time. Folks, unless you were around during the General's coaching tenures you really can't talk about the glory of Tennessee football. Johnny Majors began a trip back to that type of football, but people wanted the blowout wins, so they chunked Johnny for Phil. He had a winning percentage that was great until you look at it under the microscope. Do some research on your own and see what I mean. The results will make you think about all this negativity.:dry:
People wanted Majors gone because he interfered with an undefeated run headed by Fulmer out of sheer jealousy by jumping out of his sick bed and getting back on the sideline. Three games later - three lossses, with the embarrassing loss to SEC-newcomer Carolina being the final straw. Majors dug his own grave.
