To the ones complaining about the run play, I have seen Coach Perry do much worse. And the Tennessean had him with 299 and 2 scores. I would have to question anyone's football knowledge who calls that a quiet night. What is that almost 800 yards and 7 tad's against Henry Co. and Mt. Juliet? Pretty strong to me. Of course look at his offers, those people must not know anything either.

Shocked it's that high. Very quiet 282.
Maybe he'll turn out to be a good back, but I can't see it after tonight.
At first glance, I thought that you were just an idiot. Then I realized you were from Mt. Juliet, and now I see why you're crying.
Beech has one RB, and he ran a very LOUD 300 yards down Mt. Juliet's throat. He didn't take breaks, and he didn't get rest, and he got pounded with 10 in the box the WHOLE night. And you think this kid is soft? He is, by far, the hardest runner (at 16) that I have ever seen!
He has pretty runs on the easy defenses, and then he has whatever-he-can get on the tough games. He is the leading running back in the NATION and is on course to break the state record. Yet, you weren't impressed.
Big 6A Mt Juliet was supposed to silence 5A Beech tonight, but that didn't happen. Take your obvious irrelevant assessments and go sulk somewhere else because you're NO authority on anything regarding this thread!
Look, I hope the kid makes it. I hope he goes to UT and becomes the best RB we've ever had. All i'm doing is stating that in my opinion he doesn't have what it takes to be a successful RB at the next level. If you disagree, fine. I have yet to talk to anyone that was actually at the game that disagrees. However, i'm sure Beech fans will say "look he had 200+ yards! " and call it a good game no matter what. He also had an interception stolen from him from a 5-9, 165 pound DB, so there's that too.
He's a good back. He's not great by any means. I wish him the best of luck, as I do any player.
I'll see him play again, maybe my opinion changes. We'll see, could have just been an off night. I know y'all will say 250+ yards is a hell of an off night well yeah, it is. I'd rather see ability than yards.
