Yeah, I came back after the summer of Punk and followed via the dirt sheets and not watching raw. Tried raw out a month ago leading up to Raw 1000 and the last 2 weeks. It is unwatchable. And it's not just 1 thing wrong - I think literally EVERYTHING is bad:

Stories are boring
Most characters are boring
Announcing is God awful
Too many recaps and promos
Too much social media promotion
Crowds are dead dead dead except for a handful of wrestlers

The wrestling talent on the roster is quite good from what I've seen and read, but they aren't given a ton of time to show it.

If they'd spice up the characters and stories, it would give the fans something to invest in emotionally and the crowds will get louder.

Everything is just off.

WWE should spend less time promoting and developing their relationship with Tout and Twitter and more time developing a new and tasty 3-Hour Energy drink that will keep fans awake through the 11th Brock Lesnar/HHH recap of the evening.

I always dvr it so I can fast forward the commercials and boring parts. I don't think I could sit through 3 hours. The 1000 show was pretty good! But I knew things would drop back off after and they have. The attitude era spoiled us and I don't see it ever getting back to that level. But who knows, with the right story lines and talent it could happen. I think Cena turning heel would be a good thing if they did it right.

wrestling has seemingly always been cyclical as to whether the story lines and characters were the right fit to make it work. It does seem that there have been at least two or three times where WWE was about to turn the corner and get back to being good again, but it always falls apart. I'd like to see a Cena heel turn, but right now there's no one to play his role. They've developed the halfway good guy, half heel in Punk now and it even seems the fans in the arenas are split on it. Someone has to be up there for the little kids to love and support and until someone can perform it like Cena, I can't see the heel turn. There's no other total good guy that matters. The next closest is Mysterio, but he's pretty much toast.

Abraham Washington was fired for his "he's like Kobe in a Colorado hotel room, he's unstoppable" joke he said monday night.

it was an unbelievably stupid comment, but I don't see how he gets fired and Orton, Evan Bourne and Chris Masters get chance after chance, no matter how many times they violate the substance abuse policy of WWE. It's a double standard for sure.

In this case its more like I don't care whats going to happen. For such a big PPV, not only have they done nothing to generate my interest in it, they've turned me off to it.

I'm about there, too. They had a great thing going last year with Punk, but in typical WWE fashion, ruined that angle.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd like to see more Punk-Cena. Punk brings out the best in Cena, and some of the best matches I've seen Cena have have been against Punk. The crowd is usually pretty amped for these matches, too.

They need to have better storylines with the mid-card guys.

they need to set a true mid card field. Bring back importance to the US belt and push the IC belt more. Everyone is clamoring for the WWE belt or the Heavyweight Belt. I'd be fine with doing away with the WWE belt honestly and finally go back to making Smackdown and Raw one brand. Or just do away with Smackdown if they just can't pull the ratings. I also miss having a true cruiserweight division.

If they combined brands and unified the belts it would be a much better show. I caught bits and pieces last night for the first time in a couple months.
