I think they want to do Punk/Austin at WM. Never would of dreamed of seeing Punk main event Royal Rumble against The Rock & WM against Austin. I wish HBK was 5 years younger so we could get that match. All that being said, it's gonna be hard for people to really hate Punk. Might have to align him with Lesnar & Heyman!

It's possible, but I think they want Punk to be an anti-hero who wins on his own accord. Normal heels rarely win because of talent, they win because they cut a corner to beat the face. Doing that to Punk at this point is hardly believable, so I don't think allying him with Show is the best idea.

I don't think Punk will be a full heel. After his "pipe bomb" moment last year, too many fans like him. Punk is at his best when he just wrestles and doesn't "stick to the script" with his promos.

I hope you're right, and its not like the long, long line of recent heel turns where they guy comes out and says "The WWE Universe turned their back on me, so I'm turning my back on them! You guys don't care about me! Boo hoo!"

WWE has some really terrible writing here the past few years.

Make that two that hopes this heel turn is different. I didn't even see it as a heel turn myself. Rock made a "challenge" of sorts and Punk reacted. It was just one fan favorite attacking someone who is a bit more of a favorite. If they do go full heel turn, if they do any of the stale stuff like you said or insult the cities' people or sports team, I'm out.

Hopefully they can be the feud that Cena vs Rock was supposed to be. Punk should be able to run with the anti-establishment, too small vs Rock being mainstream and muscular angle and both should excel on the mic.

WWE will be the death of social media.

Punk's speech was more about Rock not respecting him and how the focus of the show should be on the WWE champion.
