Chipper kinda disappointed tonight. Kimbrel came in with his 97 mph pitch and closed it nicely. Game flew by. Got to see Ludicrous in the stands on the jumbotron. Saw fans that were wearing Reds, Cardinals, and Red Sox jerseys...tourists.

Go Bravos! One more time.

Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez is blaming his lack of sleep on Chipper Jones' new Twitter account.

Gonzalez should have slept well after watching Mike Minor beat Philadelphia's Joe Blanton 2-1 on Saturday night. Gonzalez says his mood turned sour after reading Jones' latest tweet on his ?(at)RealCJ10 feed: "Wow Mikey Minor! Hats off to Blanton too. They were dealing. 4 game streak since I got on the twitta. Got a date wit the Doc tmrw. Go Bravos."

Gonzalez said Sunday he "tossed and turned all night" as he worried about Jones' chronic knee problems.

The manager finally realized Jones was referring to Phillies ace Roy "Doc" Halladay, who is starting against Jones and the Braves on Sunday. A relieved Gonzalez says he has to learn more about "Twitter lingo."

I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Braves pitcher was stupid enough to be standing on the plate he deserves to be taken down like that.

I suspect they are referring to Chipper going into a HR trot on a grounder to second. Utley booted it, Chipper went into a slightly faster jog and was still out by a step or so.

Grounder to second. Two runners on. Chipper let up, second baseman booted it, recovered in time to throw Chipper out by a step. If Chipper hadn't stopped running he would have beaten it easily.
