I'll be shocked if we're not one of his officials. He loves it here and so does his family. The one thing that probably stuck out more than anything to him and the family, was the vfl program and the fact he can come back and get his degree for free if he were to leave early.
-Rivals.3. Derrick Green, Richmond (Va.) Hermitage
Camps like this aren't made for 230-pound running backs, but Green once again showed his ability. He caught the ball well for the most part (a couple drops) and he showed his upfield burst. He's very good at scraping off linebackers and getting separation, and he's simply too big and powerful to check.
If we can have a 1000 yard rushing year out of one of our backs, we may get his attention
If not, it will probably be VT
I have no idea why Meyer is recruiting a RB his size, unless its to move him to LB. Meyers offense will not work with a big RB.

If we have 1000 yrd rusher though, they will be returning for next season. So, I don't know if it will matter.
A. We have a 1000 yard rusher, and Green becomes concerned about playing time.
B. We don't have a 1000 yard rusher, and Green becomes concerned about how much run the football.
Either way though, I think he comes here because we are going to win 9-10 games this season.
-RivalsAuburn - "(Running backs) coach (Curtis) Luper says I'm the No. 1 back they want right now. He came down to my school and drew up a couple of things and told me how they'd use me. I'm building a good relationship with him."
Based on the recent conversations in the Jordan Wilkins' thread, I thought this would be interesting to post from one of the latest articles on Derrick Green. He's breaking down why he likes different schools:

So much for them telling Wilkins he was their guy and that they wanted him to commit.
