Dogs

Dang Stevie looks like a lazy ass. Can he cut the grass and do the dishes yet?

Man, he just finally passed the **** out. He had been running wind sprints in the house for about 3 hours straight while trying to beat up my 70 lb choc lab at the same time.
He may be a ninja.

He's a little athlete. Kids already set up an obstacle course and he killed it. Then he went into the playroom and out of all the crap in there, he comes out with a small TN football and halls ass through the house.

Take him to the hill and sign him up.

Congrats Sparty on Stevie reminds me of my lil one. since my loss of my old dog feel bad to not share a couple photos of my other doggie. Meet Samuel L. Jackson, "Sammy", For short. Got him when I lived in FLa for my girlfriend, now wife. He loves swimming and is a big homo who prefers to hump male dogs faces or inanimate objects but we still love him and blame that on growing up in FLa. He is a daschund/yorkie "Dorkie" mix. He is now 4 but found some old photos.

He almost died trying to swim out in the Atlantic Ocean after his momma because I was enjoying the sun and cold beer and didn't notice he left from under the chair.

LabraDoodle and Portugese water dogs supposively. Ask Obama.

This is Reggie. We found him in the middle of the road almost a year ago. He was covered with Mange, ticks, fleas, etc. The Vet told us he was probably just hours from dying when we found him.

My daughters nursed him back to health. The youngest (15 at the time) slept on the floor with him until he was strong enough to sleep in her bed (and his sores healed up a little). And she carried him downstairs to her bed until he was too big for her to carry.....

Pics from when we found him, until just a month or so ago...here we go:

Sparty meets Stevie. You know you got a cool wife when you name your new pup after Kenny Powers' most loyal friend.

This has gone perfect. Female lab seems happy to have a playmate. Both are jacked up. This little dog has great character and thinks he's bigger than he is. Little smaller than we thought and not really sure what he is. I got him a bed, a pull toy and a mini tennis ball and he is fired up about all 3.

Good lookIng kid and dog Sparty. Glad everyone is happy, including the lab. It took
us getting a new dog before we ever moved on.

Hope your new addition is as awesome as ours has been.

Thanks everybody. We really are pretty fortunate people. We have a nice little life, and have chances to give back and try to make the lives of others better at the same time. Pretty lucky.

I have felt for a long time that if life is "comfortable" then you are doing something wrong. You have to step outside of your comfort zone once in a while, and make an impact on others. It's worked pretty well. I have wonderful, caring daughters that try to make a difference as well. That is my greatest achievement in all of this.

Sometimes it's just nice to know Im doing something right for a change!!!

Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Humbly yours.

Awwww happy fathers day Gator Bill. The best kinda father is the kind you are. You chose to be a father to someone you didn't have to be a father to. Most would have made excuses of why they couldn't, but you've done something special. You've impacted lives, and not just for a single generation, but for many to come

Our vet told us that when Reggie started sleeping on his back, sprawled out like that, that it is a sign that he has submitted himself to the family.

I think Reg still runs the house sometimes, but he is certainly part of the family.

You are a fine person GB. Something is in you to make others lives better and there are few of you around.

You should enjoy today more than anyone.

Always told my wife and friends I'd never drive around with a dog in my lap.

Oh well. I lied. Stevie just couldn't make up his mind at Starbucks.
