Awwww happy fathers day Gator Bill. The best kinda father is the kind you are. You chose to be a father to someone you didn't have to be a father to. Most would have made excuses of why they couldn't, but you've done something special. You've impacted lives, and not just for a single generation, but for many to come
You are a fine person GB. Something is in you to make others lives better and there are few of you around.

Oh, thanks everyone. Im just happy to be able to do good things once in a while. Ive completely screwed up my own life a few different times, and I have had so much help from the kindness of others, that this is just part of my way of giving back, paying forward.
This dog was such a great find, literally. We were coming back from church, and saw him standing in the road. My daughter was driving, and tWife was in the passenger seat. They stopped, wife ran out, got the dog, put him in the back of the van, and the van suddenly REEEKED. It was soo awful. We took him home, bathed him, pulled a dozen or so ticks off, and got him some food. The next day we took him to the vet and he still had ticks hidden in places we couldnt find.
Anyways, at church the day we found him, the pastor had put envelopes into everyones little Church Program. Each envelope had a name and address of a serviceman overseas. We all wrote a quick letter, and put them in the envelopes, and handed them back in for the church to mail out to the troops. The person on my envelope was named Reggie. So that is where we got the name for the pup.
He's a pretty cool dog, but he still thinks he's a lap dog. And that picture with the pumpkin over his head....there wasnt even anything IN the pumpkin!! He just got too curious, and is a dork.
