Yea it's been a while since they've had a faction with any real strength to it other than the top guy. It seems lately they get an upper card/main eventer paired up with a bunch of lackeys/jobbers. I know they're trying to help get the lower card guys over but it makes the faction feel weak overall.

I know what you mean. I mean if done right it can help like it did Orton and Batista but you knew they would get there anyways, they weren't your normal jobbers. I would like to see Punk have anoth faction. Put him Daniel Bryan together and maybe thro Mason Ryan in there as well.

My view is that there are too many people that are main eventers. There are too many people that their bookers have determined are good enough to compete for/hold world titles, yet there aren't enough belts to go around, so they must interject soap opera-esque storylines to occupy their time while other people feud over the sparsity of world championships. Cena has said over and over that the only thing he cares about is the belt, but when was the last time his focus was on the WWE title?

I just feel like they either need to put people in their place or add belts, but there's way too many feuds brewing between people who claim to only care about one thing: championships.

If they add major titles, the current "mid card" titles will be as prestigious as the replicas carried around by fans.

No, I'm saying to elevate the mid card belts to almost the top, then add 1 more level, and legitimately separate who can win the top belt, who can win the mid belt, and who can win the low belt. There's no reason there should be false competition between levels.

So basically a world heavyweight belt (top), a real IC belt (mid) and then the US Championship belt (bottom tier). Id also bring back a welterweight belt and maybe even the hardcore belt. The high flyers and risk takers are a rare breed now

Definitely. I'd probably add back the European, and you can have only Europeans eligible to win the belt and make the same distinction for the US title.

Exactly! Because what happens is each belt has its own storylines . feuds etc. However, they all tie in the the WC because they all lead to the championship. Although some guys think they are title contenders when they really are mid card at best. That is also why tag teams used to be so big.

I would put the European belt on Smackdown and the US belt on Raw. And maybe you could allow the European champion to take the belt overseas like the old NWA titles used to do.

I do like the idea of reinstating it to make it brand-affiliated opposite the US belt. The IC belt shouldn't be on par with the US or Euro

There's talks on unifying the US and IC belts :/

I agree! Whomever hold the IC belt should be the one people can expect to make the next push for the WC belt whether they are the IC champ or get beat by the next IC champ.
