I'm with you on this one. The weird thing about Patterson scaring someone away is that he'll be gone next year/the year after. You probably wouldn't be receiving bonafide PT your first year either way. The second year is when you're going to get the PT after J Hunt, D Rogers, and possibly Patterson leave for the draft. He is gonna need it when the AA blasts them. I'm thinking Patterson scared him off. Everyone thought he was the sure thing.
IMO, UT has the best talent at WR in the SEC now.
Hunter, CP, DR, Dallas, Neal, plus one or two of the Fr with Bray, Worley, or even Peterman on the other end is just flat out dangerous.

Pig will get some fair PT imo. He has the speed and play making ability to be a threat every time the ball is in his hands. His YAC is very impressive.
I completely agree. A long shot, yes, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibilities if this staff can actually coach the talent they have to work with this year. That's the only reason I allowed for it.I didn't want to post this prior to NSD... just in case CP was lurking... but there is almost no way that all three of those guys get enough balls to post the numbers to go pro. If they do... UT will hoist an SEC Championship banner this December. Virtually all UT passing records would fall.... and probably scoring and total O records too.
I do not see a thing not to like about Bowles or Croom either at the WR position unless you think the redundancy of BIG WR's is a problem.
I complemented MZTERRY but was sincere when I said that if Croom has his mom's spunk the SEC DB's are in big trouble. Sometimes it is just as simple as a guy saying "I'm better than you. I'm beating you... and there's nothing you can do to stop it"... that level of confidence turns a guy with physical ability into a Calvin Johnson.
