'12 FL DB A.J. Leggett

And I hope Cheek puts them in their place. (If Leggette doesn't meet the standards we set for all student athletes)

dude he has to get through admissions first, and he has failed that test at schools that are alot more relaxed then we are, and that doesn't account what the NCAA will do. So he could get accepted here conditionally and NCAA could deny him.

I guess you missed the part of my post that says possibly.

That first hit in his senior tape is filthy.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Coach Dooley has a plan up his sleeve to get him qualified.

For athletes yes, though there are rumors Cheek is changing that (this isn't a good thing). For general students its much, much tougher than it was because of the lottery scholarship.

It may be tougher compared to years ago, but it's still lax compared to other schools.

I had a friend who got in with a 2.5 in the easiest classes we had in our high school and an 18 on his ACT.....and yes it was to the University of Tennessee.

if you told me in june we had a shot at AJ Leggette a week before NSD , i would have called you anything but your name.

wow. this is great stuff, can we please get UT admin to work with the football team on tthis one

Have you seen him in person Jay?

When was that? I'm betting it wasn't within the last 5 years, unless some $$ changed hands.

Good point, makes me wonder if Hamilton tried blocking some of the 'riskier' recruits Dooley was trying to get on board (I remember hearing some rumors of that last yr)... and Hart is working w/CDD on ways around certain things especially given his FSU/Bama background.

Wow, that is really surprising. I've heard of quite a few people with a 3.0 gpa and 24 on the act being denied.

I know just like seeing me put it out there I feel dumb, but I did see his acceptance letter. I feel like the school does make a lot of exceptions and that the bare minimum requirements are not as high as some people think.

havent seen him in person. on TV, yes.

he committed to Marshall basically to ensure he had a spot somewhere if he couldnt get in anywhere else.

this is a huge opportunity
