I've tried going back several pages to see if this was mentioned but the last several pages seemed to be full nothing.
"almost every indication that we've received is that Santos will ultimately end up at Texas" - TOS
"Mr. Santos", does it not make a difference to your family and Dalton as to how late Texas came into the game...I mean doesn't it just tick you off (and especially Dalton) that he is a back-up plan and maybe even a back-up to a back-up plan? I love the VOLS...don't get me wrong and maybe I can say this because I am not in the position that Dalton is; however, if I had the talent that Dalton has and my home state of Tennessee didn't even look at me until less than 2 weeks before signing day, then I would be enraged probably. I would probably listen to them just to entertain them and get their hopes up and then I would kindly tell them "no way would I come to a school that could have cared less about me playing for them until a short amount of time before NSD". I'm sorry but that is just my feeling. Don't listen to all of the posters who are upset. I think that you can even take the negative comments on here in a positive light....do you know the reason they are being made? Because VN LOVES your son, and we REALLY want him to be a VFL, and know that he can bring a lot of qualities back to our program that we have been missing. Nothing more and nothing less. It's a tough decision. If you truly are his dad, then good luck to your family on this decision. I hope that you truly let him make the decision as to what is best for him, and not let this become a Landon Collins 2.0. We REALLY hope to see Dalton in the one and only ORANGE and WHITE, running through the T come September.
Taking this a little serious. Let him go where he wants to without being stalker like.

If you depend on Mr SEC for recruiting info you will be several days late and several dollars short. For overall SEC info he does OK.
It's between the Vols and Horns. Momma appears to be a little selfish about what son should do, which is understandable. Mom and Dad need to be about what's best for Dalton from his eyes/life and advise him. But Dalton should make the decision that he will be 100% happy with no matter how his career goes.
Hope he is a Vol after all the drama his parents have caused. But if he isn't it is for the best. Our Vols are our Vols and they will do just fine without him. A Volunteer will always step up.
From Fortenberry on VQ
just received this text from his father this morning.
"Chase has canceled his visit to Knoxville and coach Dooley's visit. He said that he appreciated Tennessee's interest in him but he wants to be a Texas Tech Red Raider. The Vols' numbers are getting tight and a decision was needed too quickly for Chase to decide what to do. The Vols wanted him to cancel last weeks' scheduled official visit to Texas Tech to go to Knoxville, which had been planned for a month."
