I hope that you truly let him make the decision as to what is best for him, and not let this become a Landon Collins 2.0. We REALLY hope to see Dalton in the one and only ORANGE and WHITE, running through the T come September.

lol .. like hed really waste his time screwing with us considering all thats going on at that household... we must be the most easily trolled fanbase in america! i think we are much diff in one good respect though.. tn fans are rarely on other teams boards.. i never go and post on another team board.. few of us do... other fanbases tho , they seem to flock here, and sometimes prey upon our singular obsession... the real.. the one.. the only.. UT since 1794

It was midnight... the jollies were being passed around like brewskis around a campfire. Most didn't care whether or not he was trolling. It was kinda like, "Aw, screw it. Hey Mr. D.!"

Kinda like when you first learned Santa wasn't real, but you kinda held back your new found discovery in case you might have been wrong. Presents, ya'll.

Back on Santos. If he backs out, which I hope he doesn't but who knows at this point; "X" on TB's site says to watch for Quanzell Lambert - a Rutgers commit. He has the size, speed, GPA and ranking (4*, #13 at position, #6 in state on Rivals). He said he is not going to sign on NSD and look more at this options at this point. X says UT coaches are in contact.

However, comparing the programs of UT and Texas is more on an equal basis. It's not like he's coming to some lower tier program at UT...yes, we have been down, but we are still one of the top 10 programs in the country, and everyone knows (including these recruits in this class) that we are on the way back...it's only a matter of a short time (hopefully :)) Also, he has to know that his potential future for the NFL has a much higher ceiling if he stays at his natural position, which is MLB. It is a HUGE risk to make a position change...who knows how he will fit into that position? That's the question...he may be terrible! He may be awesome and better than at MLB, but it's a huge risk because no one knows, including himself.

Well said again. And I was in no way comparing my situation to his. Just simply meaning that I would have jumped at a Tennessee offer no matter what my status or where I was committed to at the time. :)

I just hope he does what's best for him. It would hurt bad if he chose the "other" UT, but if that was "his" true pick and not his parents, I can't knock him for that. But, I also agree with another poster that I truly hope he don't pull another Gabe Wright on us. I never get mad at the kids, but I'm not going to lie, that one pissed me off!!!

Hubbs said we are in contact but that he doesn't have any more official visits to take and that it would be tough for him to even get down here.

Santos should visit Texas this weekend, if he likes it there then he should commit......no more wavering and we can move along and focus our attention elsewhere .
