So just a hypothetical question...is it a violation to tip a valet (who told me he knows him) extra to text DS...Vols! ? Just wondering...:whistling:

If Santos stiffs us to begin with, then I do not want him. I want guys that want to play for UT and understand what a honor it is to wear that helmet with the T on it. I don't want to be a school that some guy settles for because his dream school didn't offer. JMO

Well you can go ahead and tell Lathers and Lane to take a hike. You could probably tell Meredith, Peters, and Bourque to look around, too, since their first choice didn't offer or went in different directions.

But I guess we could stock up on the Blancs and Robinsons of the world.

The wait is killing me. If we don't hear anything soon, I'm going to have to get me one of these:

Recruits who lie to multiple coaching staffs are either cowards or attention whores. Santos doesn't seem like either.

I really the opposite applies here....I think Texas has whored him out...or treated him like one....Taken him for granted.....

I would not be surprised if Sunseri and Joseph explain to Santos and his family that the Vols have played above the board in complete honesty in his recruitment and are asking him to do the same. They will tell him that his visit to Texas puts the Vols in a precarious position and if he waits until NSD to decide where he is going, after being committed 99.9%, it will keep the Vols from filling that slot with another deserving player.

My guess us that if he visits Texas, we could pull our offer to Santos and move on to someone who wants to be a Tennessee Volunteer.

ZERO chance of that happening.

I was implying that I think Santos will be honest and upfront with our staff if he decides to stay in state. Let's hope all this speculation is for nothing. :good!:
