OH GOD!!!! This just became officialy over for the Vols. With all the pull Mack Brown and the University of Texas boosters have, going back hundreds of years. Word got out about the Santos family in the late 1800's and the potential of one day the family having a son who could lead the University of Texas football team back to its glory....So they named a town after this child who would be called Dalton....

pepper dance is a bit more classy,huh? IF he gets him to cancel that visit...i will go to mcghee tyson and bow on the runway as the plane is coming in. DON'T THINK I WON'T!!:rock::rock:

I think we will know about Santos tonight or tomorrow. UT is scheduled to meet with Robison tomorrow. I don't think that is a coincidence. I don't think Dooley wants to wait until NSD, or even Monday, to know what Santos is going to do. Too much at stake. I think we know before he takes his visit what he will do.

We don't need another linebacker. The staff is getting him because sunseri really like Robinson and if we have room we will take him. No one will replace Santos.

I agree, OB. I even think that if Dalton tells Sal that he is realizing after the smoke has cleared that he still wants to be a Vol, that Sal may even push to try to get him to cancel his visit. A poster on here that's a Texas fan made mention that some new targets have all of a sudden popped up on their board...he said that he thought it may be a sign that the Texas coaches have a pretty good feeling that Dalton will be a Vol.

Since this thread is currently all speculation and worry, I will pose a question that could possibly be answered logically.

If Santos is as good as the talk. #1 MLB. Why is he only a ***?

Before someone says that I'm a stargazer, I will go ahead and say it. Maybe I am. Maybe I like getting recruits with high rankings. But more importantly, I am curious about how that stars are assigned

Haven't seen the stuff about Texas, but that is good news if true. I just don't see Dooley waiting this one out, and honestly I hope he doesn't. Put up or shut up time with the 25 rule.

He is ESPN's #1 MLB. He is the 15th or 16th ILB on Rivals. 3 stars and 4 stars are both very good prospects. I really couldn't tell you the difference between a 5.9 and 5.8 Four star, or a 5.8 Four star and a 5.7 three star. Just trust our coaches. Hope that helps.
