Supper today. I know its not as good as you can make it, but I am pretty happy :)

Hman complimented me once that I remember everything. This will be the second time, and last, that I ask this. I got close the first time I guessed, but I was still wrong.

Strange request I know, but Bill...could you post a picture of your dog and his name (Hank?)

Here's Sammy. First is recent, second was his prime. :)

i have several questions/comments, but the biggest question is about your hollandaise. Did you make it from scratch?

What can you do with marsala besides chicken marsala?

Chicken and Veal are staples, but pork tenderloin or a nice porter house chop works really well. Almost anything will work with it though. You can use the same base sauce and different types mushrooms with different "meats". Shiitake mushrooms in a sweet Marsala is nice on any type of white fish. A dry Marsala would be really good on Quail.......

Veal Marsala?

My favorite.

Behr,

The woman and I got a deep fryer for Christmas, and we've been going wild. 2 nights ago for dinner, we had some fried tilapia (do people eat it fried? it was good), some fried skrimp and freedom fries. What will the acquisition of this fryer do for my life expectancy? Is it true that frying moist foods means that its totally super healthy, because the water fights all the bad evil oils?

Thanks in advance,

Yours truly,

Sincerely,

Thrasher

Never know when you're serious, but.....

Yes people eat Tilapia fried, if you are gonna eat it at all...fry it and fry the shat out of it.

Nothing fried is "super healthy".

Water breaks down the oil. See what I said there? Moisture in the item you are frying will not make any significant health benefit but will break down the oil in the fryer. Use peanut oil (obviously unless you are allergic) and keep the oil clean. Strain whatever you are frying in some type of perforated dish or colander, not on a paper towel on a plate.

*Stay away from Tilapia.

Thanks Bill. I guess I'm a little partial to Him because he is a Golden. Have no clue where I got "Hank". I won't forget his name again. Beautiful dog man. :hi:

Thanks. I just moved to the Wesley Chapel area and he's got tons of room to run now. He's loving life.

Yes, its not too hard to make from scratch and tastes better than a package, to me anyways ( it doesnt exactly fall under the heading of healthfood does it) lol

Behr had plenty of room to run where I lived before here, but no other dogs to play with. He has about 2 acres here and 4 other dogs that he gets to see daily. That has been a blessing for him.

Glad to hear Sammy is loving life.

It ain't easy.

It looks perfect!

Haha, no, it's not that "health friendly" but so good and one of those sauces that are fun to do different things with.

Thanks. A little mercury never hurt anyone.

This made me think of a question I have been meaning to ask. When I make me eggs for breakfast, I only use the whites ( I have never eaten the yolks lol). I was told instead of tossing them I could put them in individual snack size bags then put them in a freezer bag and freeze them. What could I use all those yolks in? I eat two whites every morning, so thats 14 yolks a week that I would have no idea what to do with. Any help with those little slimy yellow eyeballs is greatly appreciated :)
