A good handgun

Springfield XD's are some very good guns.

Hk's are the best in my opinion.

Glocks are nice but they are basically XD's without the back grip safety.

SW SP is nice but the first few batches had an issue with accidental cartridge release. This has been fixed but the frame still can cause issues to this.

I would also say if you are buying a handgun for carry you a buying something that will never be used unless you are in a life and death situation. If that is the case, spend the extra hundred bucks to make sure you got a gun that will be ready when you need it.

Also, 9mm with +P are pretty equal to 40cal ballistics. If you get a 9mm so you have better control make sure you have 148 +P.

I would go with a 40 cal though. Stopping power does come into play if you are dealing with a crack head.

Carry a .38 or 380 as a second weapon incase the first jams but never carry a 38 or 380 as your main take down weapon.

I knew a paranoid little piece of a human in Loudon that carried 4. Probably still does.

Loudon is your key word there :). I have nothing but rifles now. I had a beretta .22, but the little s.o.b. Jammed more than it shot

That's what they should have named that POS. Jam Gun. Never liked them. Taurus took over their factory, used their mold and machinery and turned out a much better product. Good little rifle for farm plinking is the Ruger 10/22. Comes with a small round 10 shot magazine, but you can get 50 round banana clips for it.

That county and a few more down that way, you need to be armed and forewarned. Lot of people answer their door with a shotgun.

I have a .22 mag with a red dot scope for my varmiting, I love that little rifle. It holds 5 rounds, 6 if you chamber one. I hated the beretta, I sold it for 75 bucks, and kinda feel like I cheated the guy that bought it. Total complete piece of crap

These are my 3 easy access all purpose stand bys lol. The rest are in the gun safe

I remember one person by that last name but can't place where I knew them from. When you've lived so many places, the names sort of get disjointed. I probably know a couple hundred people in Loudon, Monroe, Anderson..that whole area but couldn't call up a name to save my life right now.

Nice and handy, FD. Does your intended know how familiar you are with artillery? Keep him from straying maybe.

That's the way our family was in my younger days. Spread across the country. It was best for humanity's sake.

Recently stolen or some time ago. Probably went straight to a pawn shop. Utah may be the gun craziest place I've ever lived. Think everyone must own a few.
