Santos dad is pushing for the visits.

The same buddy that works in the LSU ad has told me LSU is very close to offering Peters. Hes the same one that told me about Gunner before anyone else knew.

You think we lose both? I know you can't say for sure , but what is your opinion?

Santos has been a serious concern since Sirmon left, people can say what they want, but his dad is very unhappy.

I had thought that if LSU offered late, Tennessee would still be fine with Peters. Since Sirmon left, not so sure anymore.

This is obviously understandable. It is also why making the right DC hire is so important. You get a proven DC in here, chances of keeping both are much higher.

Not that worried unless things fall apart with Steele and Shannon.

Santos, the rough-and-tumble, Texas-bred linebacker, just smiles at some of it. Before signing day, Santos said, he plans to make an unofficial trip back to Tennessee and take visits to Ohio State and Arkansas.

"When you come down to it as a player, I've got to think about what's going to be best for me," Santos said. "Ten years down the road, what school can help me take care of my kids and my family?

"That's what I want to know."

Recruiting no longer business as usual - ESPN

If he sees how some of those northern girls age so quickly, he will not want to go to OSU. Plus, they don't know how to make sweet tea.

I wonder if Urban is going to play the death card with Santos and tell him he had a "dream/vision from God?"

I think he wants to be at Tennessee , I just hope his dad doesn't keep him from coming here.

Everything Peters has been saying sounds like he is solid. But that offer will make him think about things. We can only hope he sticks with who wanted him first. We have to make the perfect hire here.

Anyone know who the 3rd visit is? Tennessee , Ohio State and ?

Any kid that would fall for that again is a complete moron. I wonder how Taylor feels about scurvy Urbie now. That guy is a major turd, but a great liar.

We need to keep Peters and Santos. Gotta land the big time DC to keep this defensive class together. Santos is a RAW lb, can't wait to watch him (if hes in orange of course).

Speed is overrated at middle linebacker you don't have to be an athlete like at olb give me a guy with instincts over speed. Remember brandon spikes from Florida ran one of the slowest times at the combine but still was an Awsome player.

But I believe he was still rated really high on rivals.. So I wonder what the major differences are in santos/spikes game that cause them to be rated so differently..

Arkansas i think

what is his dad so mad about? the school hasn't changed other than the coaches. if santos is sold on UT as a whole, he shouldn't be upset. DRAMA.

He will stay SEC if he leaves us. He has options at Arky and A&M. Hopefully they hire Shannon and all this worry will go away.
