If only Cam hadn't stolen that laptop....if only. :loco:

Haha yeah seriously. I thought about that earlier this year. Cam was in line to be the next Tim Tebow or whatever. If Cam didn't leave UF, they would have won another national championship or two with him. Urban would have gone down as one of the best coaches ever. I wonder how mad Urban got when Cam left?

He has a NC and another BCS win that indicate he can do just fine. Tebow wasn't a key to that first title.

He's a great coach no doubt, but you can't ignore the drop-off that occurred when Tim left. It goes to show the impact that one player can have on a team.

Not at all.:ermm:

Tebow made his college debut coming off the bench behind Chris Leak in a goal line situation against Southern Miss. He rushed for a touchdown on a designed quarterback scramble on his first play. In his next game, he led the team in rushing yards against UCF.

Tebow made his SEC debut against the Tennessee Volunteers on September 16. His performance included a ten-yard run on his first carry and converting a critical fourth down near the end of the game, which led to the Gators' go-ahead touchdown.

Tebow's biggest game in the season came against the LSU Tigers on October 7, where he accounted for all three of the Gators' touchdowns, passing for two and rushing for another. Tebow had a one-yard run on the goal line for his first score, a one-yard "jump pass" to tight end Tate Casey, in which he jumped in the air and double-pumped his arm before releasing the ball, and a 35-yard play-action pass to wide receiver Louis Murphy.

Tebow played a role in the Gators' victory in the 2007 BCS National Championship Game against Ohio State. He threw for one touchdown and rushed for another, finishing with 39 rushing yards. He finished 2006 with the second-most rushing yards on the Gator team.

I still remember watching the Vols D not being able to stop him his fresh yr. It was a sign of things to come for the next couple yrs.

Yeah, but Urban knew he was leaving. And yet didn't recruit a suitable backup. Brantley couldn't have been the answer. He wasn't close to the type of QB Urban was used to having.

Losing Santos would be the equivalent of if Al Wilson decided last minute not to go to UT.

He is going to be an increadible player for us.

Lets hope we can get this guy on campus. :dance2:
I know he will play LB, but MLB/OLB. I've heard both. I know the plan is to slide AJ Johnson to the middle. does he have the speed to be on the outside?

THIS!

I am usually not devastated on losing a player that never even wore the T.... But I really want us to land this kid. He brings a toughness that we have been missing for years. We need some mean SOB's to cause havoc and bring the pain. He's got the size, talent, and mentality to be a beast in orange.

One good thing going here, Santos is from Tx, late January in Cbus is about as clode to dismal cold and nasty as you can get!! I think he solid to UT by his statements, but cum had a nack for swaying recruits with lies. Hopefully, it's bitter cold and he just hates his visit all around!!

is OSU gaining? I thought one of the main reasons he chose us was to play in the SEC.. but we did lose a couple coaches :bs:
