is that grill in the house, or an outdoor patio..

Looks like a grill inside a screened porch.

Christams at Tricias 003.jpg

This pic was taken standing in front of the sink in the kitchen. You can see the grill in the back ground. Yes, it's in a screened porch.

It's a 3 story house. The main living area is on the second floor. Walk out on the patio and to the left looks out over the screened in pool on ground level.

The ground floor has a 3 car garage and a lounge..complete with 10 ft. completely stocked bar, pool table, couches, two 50 plus inch TV's, pin ball machine, dart board, etc. and a Bath "house" room.

I didn't see the 3rd floor but understand it was their kids floor, 14 and 19 year old girls.

The husband owns the Country Club and golf coarse the house is located at, on Sanibel Island. The Gulf of Mexico is right across the street.

Anyway, blah blah blah it is a nice place and was a fun time. I just wish I would of had time to hang out a little.

That's awesome Behr! I pictured you with with longer hair, but otherwise I was dead on.

Behr, Merry Christmas my friend!
RV's Christmas dinner was raved over by everyone in attendance. I, however am disappointed in my tastes. I tried Maine lobster tail for the first time in life and sadly let down from all the hype so I gave the rest of mine to RV so as not to waste it on my hillbilly taste buds. My OCD would not allow me to dip the lobster in the drawn butter. It just did not work for me in my head. I liked the shrimp we had much better even though I suck at peeling grilled shrimp.
I knew ahead of time I was going to have a hard time with the prime rib RV had planned, but I never let on about my apprehension. Once it came out of the oven and she started to slice it, I thought I had lucked out and would get a nice, more done end slice. But my dumbass MIL, who was bragging how she was the only one who liked her beef medium rare, swiped the only medium well slice off the platter. Everyone else got nice medium slices, however I could not get past the blood on the platter to even bake one a little longer. So all I had was green beans and au gratin potatoes. RV did a wonderful job on her first prime rib and she thanks you for your suggestions and help. I just wish my weird obsessions would go away sometimes but it looks like I am stuck with them at this point in life.
Bright side, I tried a Mimosa this morning and it is not as gay as I thought it to be. 3 bottles of champagne later, we all were toasted quite nicely by the fire pit.
Hope you and SFB had a good holiday.

Your veins thank you for your aversion to drawn butter. :) And your wife is a lucky one. I'd order lobster for you everytime we went out.

I'm cool with that as long as you order me some tater skins or nachos as an appetizer.:eek:lol:

I had jalapeno chili cheese fries, hold the chili, with spicy garlic wings for dinner. Yum!

I declined on making a dessert for this party tonight, but the sister in law of the lady that hosted it made a triple chocolate cheesecake that was really good, I actually thought about you while I was eating it.

I'm not a huge fan of all chocolate stuff, but ill take it if its cheesecake! My mom would have love that one though

Anchovies, what else besides salad and pizza can I do with them!

I love the little salty bastards.

BeHR, please help me

Love,

Samus, Nerd's awesome dog

Behr, do you have good recipe for shrimp and grits? One of my favorite things about going to charleston.

Samus, you should not be eating them.

Yep, next time we are around at the same time you can tell me how much trouble you want to go to.

They won't if you keep the lemons in the fridge and keep your kitchen clean.

The Ron,

Okay, you got me.

After minimal research I found out that there are "Lemon Ants" that are mainly found in swampy areas that do taste somewhat like lemons, but not all ants.

I have never eaten ants and never used them for culinary purposes.

**I posted this in a thread in the pub after it got off topic.

here's a hint for the medium steak for next time..
take a piece and throw it in the microwave for 45 seconds...that'll take the red out of it

Or just drop a slice in the pot/bowl of hot au jus for about the same time.

I was waiting for VIF or RV to log back in before I commented on his post.

Behr, do you like steaks well done? If not, would you consider eating one if it were free?

Sincerely,
govols/cc
