And had the right to assume that the "law enforcement" that she helped pay for could keep a 4 time repeat DUI offender from driving again while stoned on oxycontin. But alas, they were out giving a sober citizen a speeding ticket about 500 yards away.
Wait, now you have something against individuals who take anti-depressants?
You are EXACTLY the kind of "man" John Wayne would have kicked in the sack. Live your life dude, enjoy some things, quit worrying about what other people do to increase your healthcare premiums....stop worrying that out of balance tires on your neighbor's car are causing potholes on your street, thus causing higher taxes.....just stop, man up, go build something, weld something, kill a small animal but for goodness sake stop being a freaking woman and quit yer bit****.
I think if you'll take this to heart, we could move on to the other whiny men in this country....one at a time....and take our society back.
She still chose to get on the road. Why should I take responsibility for her choice (this is your argument against obesity, correct)?
Roads are a community agreement operated by government. The privelege to drive only requires obeying traffic laws. Not even a need to help fund them.
Someone obeys traffic laws, also helps maintain them by taxes, is harmed by someone who does neither, reserves the right to use a service, (disability), that was set up for this very purpose.
Obesity is a choice to be unhealthy, just like taking multiple doses of oxycontin is a choice to be unhealthy. Different severity, but both tied to addiction, which is often emotional distress.
The group that chooses to be unhealthy doesn't have the right to harm the others. Claiming discrimination is saying that they have that right. Thats anti-libertarian.
