Decompressing From The End Of The UT Game...

Uh, mediocrity in Ktown is better? I still get to watch one heckuva home schedule here in football and basketball. I'd prefer Ktown and get there when I can, but Fayetteville has been a very good alternative.

UT football hasn't been up to snuff of late, but Arkansas has still been worse. Regardless, I think the original comparison was Arkansas vs. Florida. Florida has had three different schools win national championships in the last decade.

It was miami v fayetteville. The other two champs in FL are a miserable drive or plane ride away from Miami. How do they help the college sports scene in Miami?

Miami is down right now. They've also already won more national championships in this century than Arkansas will. They'll be back sooner or later.

Even if they're up, what UT fan on earth wants to root for them. I wouldn't pay a quarter to watch them play their big rival, FSU, every day for a month.

Better check the record books, in Track and Field Arkansas has about 42 or 43..

They change the signs around here so often, I can't keep up.

You could have said that initially rather than citing the current level of UM's program as a reason for your disdain for Miami athletics.

Oh crap. I'm moving to Fayetteville immediately. UT won a Track NC in 2002 and I'm not sure it even made the Sentinel.

Come on

Then there be at least 3 TN fans in Fayetteville

Better check the weather, I think there's tornadoes headed toward Memphis.

I was simply saying that there are no college sports programs in Miami that I would spend my time watching. Not sure how else I could say it.

With the exception of last year, I can't think of an Arkansas game worth watching in quite a few years.

Fine, don't come to any and I'll avoid any in Miami. What's your point? You got to watch UT lose some big home games every year for the past few. Congratulations.

I'm not touting Knoxville as a premier city. I would, however, much rather live there than any city in Arkansas.

Then be my guest. I didn't actually choose Fayetteville. A couple of business decisions brought me here, but it has been a very pleasant surprise.
