'14 TN DB Todd Kelly Jr. (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Scout did a video interview w/ Kelly, he was at the Alabama vs. Tennessee game. He wants to visit Auburn & Clemson, said he is 5'11 180 & runs a 4.5 right now.

right now Tennessee is where his heart is. Talked to him on several occassions and he tells me about all his visits. He seems to be really enjoying the recruiting process and has had some great even saying amazing visits to some other schools. Everytime however, he always finishes by telling me about Tennessee and how cool it would be to play here. When I ask him what school he likes the most he always with no hesitation tells me UT! As of right now I think it would take some drastic changes for that to even be in question. He loves UT and is one of the nicest kids you will ever meet. Really mature for his age and you can tell he comes from a great family even if you don't know his family personally. Love this kid.

Already two virtual locks from Knoxville in the '14 class, and both of them are probably going to be top 100 players...

Kelly is expecting Tennessee to officially offer w/in the next month. LSU is now showing interest.

SOOO excited about the '14 class. We'll probably get Kelly, Akeem Cooperwood (6'7 300 pound O-lineman), Berry twins, Pyke, and Chism.

Plus i'll be a senior in 2014 so it needs to be 2014 NOW

Wouldn't count the Berry twins just yet ...

Kelly is a 5-foot-11, 180 pound athlete who will probably end up in the secondary when he gets to college. He is already hearing from the likes of Oregon, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.

Kelly Jr. names UT and VT as the schools that are on him the hardest. He plans on attending both schools' summer camps this year. He is also hearing from Bama and LSU. Hearing from Clemson as well. Will be visiting Clemson on January 28th. Long ways until NSD 2014, but I think UT is in great position ATM for obvious reasons. -Per Rivals.

Kelly Jr. is an athlete. I like him on defense though. Think he could be a great DB. He was very strong against the run. Did a really good job at shedding blocks and attacking the ball. He still has 2 years to develop in HS too. Lots of potential.

I haven't watched any Tennessee high school football in years. Wow the competition was horrible. Nothing against Todd Kelly Jr. I think he is a good player. Was that 1A ball?
