No Huddle Offense

I bet I could count the number of relevant players on one or two hands. I'm sure there are track star converts on teams that won't amount to anything on the football field.

I'm not going to try and find a link unless you really don't believe me, but I remember after he did it, the headline on Yahoo Sports said:

"What can Brown do for himself?"

And it had a picture of him running.

And it listed his time in the caption.

There are certainly players that can get 4.3's.

Vernon Davis, Mike Vick, Deion Sanders, the list goes on of guys that broke 4.4 at the combine. 4.2 is a little unrealistic though. It really doesn't matter as much as it's made out to be because these guys train for months on technique for the 40 then don't use said technique when actually playing football.

It's not that I don't believe you - we all just have so much info in our brains that our memories get jumbled.

Well VIA, I guess I'm wrong, because I looked it up really fast, and NFL.com said Brown ran a 4.43. I must have missed the first 4. I guess you were right about the jumbled thing. :p

But I'm pretty sure I had the headline right.

Then he would have run a .43. Now, that's fast.:)

Maybe Cadillac ran a 4.3. I always thought he was the faster of the two.

I'm not sure, but I do know for a fact the headline said what can BROWN do for himself, so either way I was thinking of Brown and must have just messed up.

That 4.43 speed didn't hurt his draft status too much, and it hasn't hindered him in Miami.

I'm not a big fan of the no huddle..only when needed or a change of pace..guess it's the Zook flashbacks trying to do it and wearing out the Gator D by the end of each game.

Let me add to this: Regardless of what Vinson runs, he's fast enough to make me say "I'll take Vinson and his speed."
