RUMOR: Da'rick indefintely suspended?

Anyone else over the 'not technically suspended but not active either' thing?

Isn't that the same as being suspended?!

Good for Dooley to not take **** from a WR that thought he was bigger than the team. If Da'Rick really wants to get back on this football team and matter, he will do the right things. If he doesn't, then he will just go along with the long list of talented Tennessee football players that let their head get in their way and make them delusional about what football really is. A team sport.

Da'Rick better not take this lightly. I would be seriously upset if he was not on the team come next fall. But if he isn't, it was because of him. Not Dooley, and not anyone else. The situation he has put himself in is completely his fault IMO.

I hear you. I think it speaks volumes to the rumors which had been floating though. I was leaning to the side that believed DaRick was getting a raw deal from all of the rumors, but this would make you think the rumors had a lot of truth.

My approach to rumors is to not believe the specifics of any of them, but when a lot are circulating around one particular person/issue, then there typically is something there... There was just WAY too much smoke for something not to be going on. Unfortunately, people spend more time bashing someone for not being 100% right that they don't see the smoke in front of their eyes.

Ainge's twitter said Rogers is off the team...hope the report that he is just indefinitly suspended is more accurate.

In that case, and I know from experience unfortunately, you give him the opportunity to make amends and get with the program. You gotta love a competitor and that's why I think he was shaking his head a lot this year, because the play calling seemed a bit weird.

Or, two, he's truly just going off for no real reason and he doesn't show any remorse or apologize to Dooley and the team within 24 hours. We all need time to cool down. If it's this one and he fails to come back and explain himself, then you probably gotta let him go.

i didnt hear this with my own ears but this is what i was told. dr didnt have a very good relationship with most of the seniors. he went off on the coaches because they wouldnt do anything about some upperclassmen treating alot of the young guys on the team poorly.

Skeeter, are you saying that originally Dooley was going to suspend Da'Rick and let him work his way back like he did with Janzen? But then Da'Rick yelled at Dooley and may be gone now? What was the original suspension for?

They're not calling it a suspension technically but he is no longer on the active roster & has to earn his way back -Per Wes Rucker

The best unit on our roster is being dismantled day by day. Shaaweeet.

At least the OLine is still intact.

Btw can we trade this "Fallon Smith" for Heather Harrington at post-practice interviews please.

Lets hope he gets his act together. Him, hunter, and patterson all on the field at the same time will be hell for defenses to stop.

Went off on DD means one of 2 things to me with 2 different outcomes.


1) Verbal altercation with shouting,insults, and cursing. If that took place a suspension is warranted.

2) A physical/Verbal altercation. If property or DD was physically attacked then DR should be dismissed.
