Lots of hostile

Agree with your sentiment and I'm in for the dunking booth. I like you skeeter, but I couldn't never pass up an opportunity for a dunking booth.

OLine goes from leading the way for a 1000 yard rusher to the worst rushing team in all of college football.

Rivera goes on the watch list and then his QB forgets that he is allowed to throw him the ball.

Da'Rick becomes Brays 1st look in every route and reguardless if he is triple covered or not Bray throws it to him.

Total defense improves as this team quit very early in games and as teams had us down by 4 TDs early they ran the ball and clock therefore totaling less yards and boosting our defense ranking.

Bray goes from being inaccurate and wild to a great QB vs mediocre teams. VS SEC teams Bray looked like a 3 star QB whose only other offer was San Diego St and in NO WAY showed he was best in the SEC.

Couch came in as a solid DT Juco prospect and finished the season as a solid Middle tier SEC DT prospect.

Austin Johnson went from fullback to our leading tackler(says alot about this 26th ranked defense).

Should I go on?

Im not going into this again, Ive proved every point in about 20 posts on this thread. Just read this thread, your arguments are a lot easier to go after than the other ones were.

Say it with me. Ken-tuck-y.

So you base a major program impacting decision to replace the staff and all of the ramifications that brings based on one bad game in a sport where just about any team can win on any given Saturday if the better team on paper doesn't bring their A game?

Glad you're not calling the shots in the AD.

ill give you one example then im leaving it alone and we'll all just wait and see what comes out.

neal had been catching alot of crap because he was cutting into an upperclassmans playing time and arnette to some extent. instead of helping and teaching they would rather ***** and moan because an upperclassman is losing time. guess what, stfu and to work. learn your routes and catch the damn ball, simpel really. its like they dont want to compete, should play just because they're upperclass. and for the record, zach was not the one complaining or giving the young guys a hard time.

gonna go out on a limb to say this crap giving comes from someone not playing WR?

I give him 2012 for the benefit of the doubt and because I can't predict the future. I really want him and the team to succeed. That is all. I don't care to think past that for the time being. Good post. :)

vol fans right now.

volnation currently has more than 4,000 people online and i will assume the majority of those are football fans.
now, say 3,000 of those fans are ready to fire dooley and very unhappy with the program at the moment. those 3,000 will help spread the negativity to atleast 5 other people each with our grand total of unsatisfied customers being 15,000. thats around 7% of neylands capacity.

heres what i propose. everyone settle down and wait to pass judgement on this staff til after its 3rd year. if we dont see serious improvement next year and be competitive in most games like most of us expect, ill in return expose who i am and personally have a dunking booth set up outside the stadium and everyone is invited down to take his or her best shot. oh, ill do it in january.

we'll have some fun one way or the other next year. any takers?

Yes, the voice of reason. If only everyone could see the light, all of VolNation, well most of VolNation, would be so much better off mentally and emotionally. Thanks, Skeeter!

you will soon learn the division on the team was created by the seniors minus m jackson.

Wow, this could explain a lot.

It sounds like Poole and Austin Johnson (former FB) and both Fullmer recruits, had the Fullmer sense of entitlement that seniors should get the most pt. And they resented the younger players getting their pt, so they wouldn't coach them up.

I can see why the younger players would NOT be motivated to beat Kentucky to send the seniors out on a winning note & go to a bowl game. I'm not saying that they threw the game on purpose, just that they had little motivation to play.

IIRC Poole accused the younger players after the game of playing for their stats & not the team, but ironically HE was the one who wanted to amass 1000 or 2000 yds. this year, was he not? Maybe the OL, who were all underclassmen except for Dallas Thomas, were not as motivated as they should have been throughout the season to block for TP either.

LOL once again at the "Fire Dooley" posters because we lost to Kentucky. How was Dooley going to heal this division on the team in one week & get them up for the Kentucky game? Tough job for any coach.

Hopefully the division is gone and they play like a TEAM next year.

Depends, are you going to wear a one piece or a two piece?

I dont understand why this is so difficult. Ok, I lie, I do know. Nobody has any perspective or patience. Look, its a tough job already coaching in the best conference in college football. Dooley is still learning things. He was playing with nowhere near a full deck this season. Quit being brash. Next year he should have pretty close to a full deck. Healthy players. 3 of his own recruiting classes. Some juniors that have played lots of football. Wait and see how we look next season. Judge him when its fair to judge him. If next year we look like the same team that played against UK, when we are playing with close to a full deck, then you can make some honest evaluations.

I agree. I think we will be much better next year without this pt issue dividing the players.

The only hostility I have is your non-capitalizations. Just kidding. :)

all I expected was some hint of moving forward not 7- 9 wins in year one and two. the total don't care attitude of some players at Lexington was very disheartening and shameful

noway.an injury here and a injury there hurt us to much. next year we'll be able to absorb a few.

Agree. Had Bray and Hunter not gotten hurt we would have performed much better and I think won at least two more games. Still, being so young, and not having, 3, 4 yr experienced personnel or 5th yr seniors is tough to make up for, plus having the toughest schedule in the country. How many teams beat Ga, LSU, AL, and SCe? Not many. Personally, I wish we had beaten KY but glad the streak is gone (for KY and us). I said before the KY game for those people taking that game for granted not to be counting your chickens yet. I knew KY was much better than what most people thought after giving GA a tough time. I do think we should be much better next year though; can't discount injuries popping up which really hurts teams with little depth. We gotta have some backs that can run though and I think that kid that committed out of GA should help a lot--forget his name--a speedster.

im generally in to much of a hurry to worry about those type of things.:)

skeeter33418 thats about the "Man up Post" Ive have ever seen....I will be there with you....and if you need a time out I will jump in and take my turn...I believe in CDD and the things he is doing...CDD just like any coach needs time to turn around the trash that was burning when Kiffin left....so heres to having your back...:neener:

i can understand that. dooley is very smart, no denying that. im just in the camp that wait til the 3rd year to judge. i mean wilcox only has about 60% of his defense implemented because of depth and injury issues. janzen getting the boot changed some things. i mean have you ever seen that many first year players in the same backfield before. crazy stuff. we'll finally be in position to sub along the dline alot more next year and that in itself will open alot of things up.

Hey skeeter. I for one want to thank you for your insight and SHARING information we would otherwise have to find out from less reliable sources, or simply wait much longer than we care to, especially during the recruiting season. I don’t think you have ever intentionally SHARED information that was wrong. Keep up the good work!!! If CDD doesn’t show the Volnation much improvement, I will buy a ticket to Knoxville just to make sure you get dunked! Here is to CDD getting it turned around, you keeping you identity secure (and keep providing us nuggets), and a much improved team next year.

Hmmm, so do you feel as though the team has progressed enough to keep you out of the dunking booth and keep your identity a secret?

:)
