Pretty bold and direct... credibility on the line type of statement there.

Are you that sure? If so... best news in a LONG while.

yea, not to be a downer, but its extremely bold. especially with skeeter saying he hasn't heard anything of sentimores visit. please dont be another troll.

OCI is no troll... but that statement doesn't leave much wiggle room.

Skeeter was hammered last year because of the DT that played the coaches then went to Auburn. All he did was report what he heard or knew the coaches believed.

I think OCI is in a similar point to observe... but that was something more than "the coaches believe"... it was definitive.

yea i remember the gabe wright fiasco. that was terrible. and dawson. skeeter said they were vols. i'm always skeptical of someone saying something is 100% a fact, especially when it comes to recruiting. I would love for all 3 to be VOLS and if this is true, holy ish has dooley pulled himself out of a big one.

Like I said, Skeeter got unfairly hammered but all he was doing was relating what the coaches really believed... they were being misled by Wright. I think Dawson just got sold. He'll probably end up regretting that decision.

OK. Sorry about that. I thought it was you saying that Wright had one of the coaches convinced he was coming.

i think that was thedooley character, the same one that was 100% on b moore going to miami. gabe did tell the coaches he was a vol and i may have relayed that. but i also stated i didnt believe it and cautioned everyone else to do the same. i got to where i wouldnt even talk about that nutcase anymore.

So Dooley and company have essentially locked up 3 of the best Juco D-Linemen in the country, coupled with our return next year with Wilcox and Sirmon...I'm Excited. Shiiiit. its going to be an exciting offseason.

These tidbits of positivity in recruiting are keeping me going right now.

I can't even venture into the football forum. I'm still seeing people calling for Dooley's head. Unbelievable. Now if he didn't recruit well, I would still be uneasy about the situation, however if you can pull out big time talent like he is doing, I'm impressed. Especially with a losing season, only a lawyer could convince you of that.

Honestly... getting talent right now is more important than the loss to UK or having to live through a tough season.

As long as Mack Brown and Les Miles are head coaches... you will always have living examples of how great talent makes buffoons look like great coaches. Brown is a super nice guy... but a really, really Fulmeresque HC.
