Possible rematch with UNC?

Just plain dumb as hell. That's all I'm saying.

I'm aware. Just food for thought.

But on a serious note, how do you think the BCS would play out if Arkansas beats LSU? There's no doubt in my mind they are all three deserving, but that's not how the voters think, which is ultimately what determines the BCS rankings. So, which SEC team would miss out on a BCS game? Would a bowl really take Houston over Alabama or LSU?

Ummm the BCS CANNOT take more than 2 schools from a conference.

I was wondering about that, its a shame too. The BCS should be the top five teams outside the SEC versus the top five teams in the SEC. I bet we would have a winning record year in and year out.

Even though we didn't win, that was one of the most exciting games I have ever attended. I would love the rematch, and I think the players would to.

Although I too think it's a little early to be talking 'bowl,' it would be nice if such were to happen for the seniors' sake. Those guys deserve something positive.

Then I would challenge you to drive down to campus and find Austin Johnson, Ben Martin or Tauren Poole and tell them that.

lol, ok tough guy... its pretty clear from my post I'm nega-senior and oblivious to the unfortunate events that happened to the few seniors we have #sarcasm.

Despite their heart, the game is team sport, and those 3 VFL's can only do so much

I'm the tough guy? I'm not the one hating on their effort. Have we won enough games to go to a bowl at this point in the season? No. Is it a lack of effort? I don't think so.

Why not. Last years game was a huge success. Was one of the best college football games all year and there was a packed stadium there to see it

Is it a lack of focus then? The team will need to put together 60 minutes (not 30) of good football this week, then again next week. If they do, they will have earned a bowl bid and I will gladly return to the MCB to cheer them on ... and hopefully, I'll sit next to the same UNC fans as last year, ha

I would go to this, especially after what happened last year. Their fans are so classless. I would give them hell!

Had fun at last years game. IF the Vols win out and make the MCB, I will definitely be there!

You clearly didn't watch any of the Arkansas game or any of the second halves in October if you think this team is giving 100% for 60 minutes every time they take the field.

no bowl for u t , with or without bray. no negavol here, but folks if this team does not get it's head up and play with a little pride this week, we will get beaten rather badly by vandy on sat. sorry, but the assistants i have been alluding to all week have got to go. i have faith in cdd, but 3 of his assistants have to go, or u t will be 6-6 next year.

I don't think UNC would agree to this. They had a poor turnout in Nashville and Nashville is not very close to Chapel Hill. It's about 8 hours from the Triangle.

Also, I wouldn't want to lose to UNC again, it would be bad for recruiting NC in the future and our fanbase would be irate if we lost to them in Nashville 2 years in a row. Much rather play Miami or Wake.

I'm from Chapel Hill, I honestly can't take another loss to UNC right now, last year was absolutely terrible the way the game ended.

Let me clarify the above question. We know O-line has failed to develope, runbacks not showing much improvement, tackling issues, etc. But, I'm wondering how many really need to be replaced to fix what I think is partly a motivation issue.
