I agree, he may have destroyed the university, all because of his selfish. But, he hurt kids by not going forward for the rest of their lives. I understand he wasn't alone and as far as we know never saw anything. But what he did by not following this through cost people years and years of hurt, mentally and physically. i want him, all of them prosecuted. And if McCreary did say more, and he was scared of doing anything when he saw the rape. He is gonna be terrified with the thought of possible jail time and will roll. This just really bothers me.

He announced his retirement after the BOD announced they would meet on Friday. He's trying to stay ahead of them, but I suspect they'll let him coach Saturday but that will be it.

They don't put people like him among the general prison population. He does need to be locked up for good, and he needs to save himself one way or another. He'll have plenty of time to do that, but I hope he doesn't kill himself.

What is this BS about "years?" Now you're just making sh_t up, thats absurd, this wont take years to identify all the guilty parties.

I understand the timeline, I also understand that neither you or I know what McQuery told Paterno, or what he told the president. And that is a fact.

Even Trevor Matich on ESPN who has been very outspoken in his outrage over this, and I dont feel any different BTW, even says we need to let the investigation run its course. Gee what common sense.

Now you can go back to your Nancy Grace and Geraldo shows and beat the drum for instant justice. Some of you guys are hilarious.

To me, he doesn't deserve it and as I said earlier, it shows how egotistical he is.

Why does he need the last three games? What motive does he have? He's been showered for 46 years of love and devotion and has had so many standing ovations he can't count. He has to have one more? Is his ego that bruised? That seriously bugs me.

I can tell you, if I was a wealthy booster, I would be withdrawing my donations until all parties that knew of this, were removed.

Yeah, but the timing makes me think they'll give him Saturday. There is a huge fight going on among the board members and I don't see them resolving that today or tomorrow.

When Paterno got word from McQuerry that his former Def. Coord. had raped a boy in the football locker room, how could he keep them both around at the same time? I mean one of them is lying and the accusation by Mcquerry is not just serious but one of the worst things you can accuse someone of. BUT he gave one a job and let the other keep using the facilities and coming around like nothing happened.If you are so close to Sandusky, then how do give his accuser a job on the staff and eventually promote him to recruiting coordinator? On the other hand you let pedophile walk free on your campus after your former QB came to you to tell you earth shaking news.You know Sandusky is calling McQuery a liar. Boy Joe Paterno you really cant stand up for anybody. Not the kid who was raped, not McQuerry who told the truth, and you didnt even back Sandusky when McQuerry accused him of the worst thing you can accuse somebody of.You just let it go,kept them both around, and act like nothing happened for alomost 10 years.
