The three is a staple of Pearl's system. I'm not a huge fan of the flex offense and shooting a copious amount of threes. However, that is what Bruce believes in from an offensive standpoint. You have to teach what you buy into offensively. A coach has to believe what he's selling.
I'd like to see their percentages in SEC play. Tabb's numbers are inflated because he went 3-for-3 in a game early on, coming off the bench during a blowout (MTSU, maybe?) And, even if Bradshaw was hitting them at a 20% clip, are you sure you want a freshman taking that big-time pressure shot as opposed to your senior leader, who's made huge plays to win huge games for you in the past?
And, FWIW, by the time Tabb's a senior, it's entirely possible that he may be a better player than Bradshaw ever was.
