For accurate results, you should have made the results private. I believe more do than do not know how to drive manual, but not this wide a margin.

Why would anyone lie to begin with? It's not like I looked at the results and was "wow I didn't realize so and so knew how to drive a stick, he must have a huge penis! What a cool guy."

Sad reality is that people lie to make them self "seem" cool.

No, I lie just because I enjoy lying. It's really fun once you get the hang of it.

I noticed you're in the "No" category.

ok, how many of you manual transmission aficionados use every gear when accelerating, downhill, after being stopped at a stoplight?

in other words, how many of you skip shift when using every gear is unnecessary?

If you know your RPM's you shouldn't have to go thru every gear going down the hill.

I know my RPMs. They start at like either 1 or some number around there and they go up to like.... 8,200? Do I need to know them in order?

I used to skip shifts, but after reading more into the fragility of my motor under loads, I make sure to use every gear.

Dummies. The engine will tell you when it's ready to shift. When it starts bouncing, that's how the car tells you to shift. Much easier than trying to listen to the tone of the engine and decode what RPM you are at.

Man, I can't believe I have been doing it wrong all of these years! Thanks for the pro-tip!

That's what I'm here for. I was sent by the government to educate you dummies. You've been selected to carry on the race after Russia nukes us, unfortunately. Don't worry, we have a plan B.
