True, but of the last 2 games Spurrier has played Fulmer, Spurrier has been rebuilding slowly but surely. I'm just saying he's always seemed to have Fulmer's number. He even managed to beat UT with Duke in the late 80's.
and that has nothing to do with what happens 18 years later....and yes, he has had Fulmer's number, no argument there, and for that reaosn only, each and every time they go against one another, it will always be a question as to whether or not CPF can beat him. and it will be that way until/unless CPF puts a string of W's against him. how likely is that to happen? a lot more likely while he's at SC than it ever was while he was at UF, that's for sure.

but SC is getting better and i've said this before, they lost several close games this season, to UT, UF and ARK namely, and eventually they will get over that hump and start winning those kinds of games.

Those who truly beleive that UT will beat Arky nead to lay off the sauce. Arky did not sneak up on the Vols in '06. Everyone knew McFadden and Jones would run it straight down UT's throats and they did exactly that. Barring significant improvement and added depth in the DL and LB corps, Arky will do the same thing in '07.
i think they are a toss up right now.

and dont' get me wrong, they didn't sneak up on us. by that time in the sason, they had been noticed.

they did however sneak up on Auburn, Bama etc...early on, that's more of what i was getting at.

i don't know that they'll have the same early season success that they did in 06. I think they did sneak up on Auburn. they barely beat Bama and remember this is the same team that had to have Vandy miss a game winning FG to come away with a W this year....

they won't suck....don't get me wrong.

i highly doubt UT knew that Arkansas was that good last year until they played them.

yeah they did.

if you say so. i just dont think fulmer expected 31 points hung on them with the arky offense running all over them like they did. i think he knew they were good, dont get me wrong. but i dont think he expected a lopsided loss like that, especially with the way Crompton played a week before with a better LSU team.

i don't think they expected a loss period. but i'm just saying they also didn't come out of that game saying "man they were a lot better than we originally thought" either. by the time we played them, they had been on, like an 8 game win streak including a w at Auburn, beaten Bama etc, etc, etc.....everyone knew they were good by the time the TN game rolled around. winning that game sort of validated the thought process some more, but there was no question that ARK was good and why they were good by the time that game was played.

When people are talking about Arkansas player's that they are losing nobody mentions McFadden. Is there really no chance of him leaving early? I think he has proven everything he needs to and this draft class is not very strong in the RB department. He should declare early because he is the best RB in college.
