Ainge????

I thinking blaming him for the loss is absurd. I think wanting him to go pro is ridiculosu unless you want to lose 6 games next year. That said...

1. He had over 250 yards, but it was some of the most quiet yards I could think of in awhile. Not his fault at all...but by watching the game and looking at the score I wouldnt have guess Aigne threw for almost 300 yards.

2. Something I noticed Ainge do in this game and I think he's done in others...Im fairly sure I saw Ainge, several times, release a pass at the top of his arm motion, but then the ball would sail at a downward angle. So much that a lot of players were catching the ball in their stomach kinda near their waist, instead of their upper chest. Its hard to make a move when you're catching the ball low. Anyone else notice this?

Ainge was 90% of our offense. Coker was 15%. The rest of the team was -5%.

if you think that was great then you need to watch more football. ainge is going nowhere. he will never play on sundays, he doesn't have the head for it.

And I thought you couldn't say anything more ridiculous.. You just keep amazing me champy.

please enlighten me champy. what kind of "head" do you have to have for the NFL?

you have to make good plays and not float the ball to your recievers. you have to be a hell of alot better than ainge. you have to have athletic ability and a smart head on shoulders. he has alittle athletic ability and without CUT we already seen what kind of QB he is. no chance he plays on sunday. i don't even put him in tee martin range as a QB. he was smart.

Travis Stephens didn't make it in the NFL. He won quite a few games at UT. Who gives a crap about a kid's pro future if he can help the Big Orange?

Manning wasn't exactly Carl Lewis. He's doing alright in the NFL.

So, Jarred Lorenzen fits that mold you describe?

"Coach, I need a gravy I.V."

did you see his performance his freshman yr? where was cut then? he does play smart. you are remembering too much of last season. Ainge didn't throw an INT all of Nov and some of Oct. a pocket passer will always be a valuable commodity in any level of football from pee wee to the NFL and all points in between.

Please... tell me your are not comparing Manning's mental game to Ainge. About the only thing Ainge can be compared to Manning with is arm strength and his lack of mobility. What is between their ears is what separates Manning from Ainge.

wasn't manning the #1 pick in the draft. that doesn't make sense. also travis stephens was drafted i believe in the second round.

You said a QB needs to be athletic. That's bullcrap. You are thinking of Travis Henry not Stephens.
