Yeah big orange fever's post. You see a lot of that when people comment about how the talent needs to be upgraded.
It's as though everyone Tennessee signs is who the staff preferred over all others when the reality is a lot of them could very well have been B-listers or C-listers on the staff's list and the staff just didn't get the guys they actually would have preferred to get.
The staff thankfully wants to get elite talent in here or they wouldn't be offering all these guys that are heading to the LSU, Alabama, and Florida's of the world.
I was just joking around because he said que the "I'll trust the coaches opinion" posts. I know the coaches miss on people. Sorry for the confusion.
No surprise, Michigan made it's big push once Brady Hoke became HC. Atm, probable Top 5 (in no particular order) Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, & Arkansas. Ones to watch LSU, ND, & Nebraska. I think it will eventually come down to Tennessee, Alabama, & Michigan.
Tennessee is very much in the game w/ some talented and high ranked (*4) DT's...
Day
Magee
O'Brien
James
Pipkins
Kirven
Johnson (JJ has expressed interest but Tennessee has yet to offer)
Ekakitie
and
Valentine.
That said, it is (only) June, much that can happen between now and NSD 2012.
-VQ: Danny O'Brien talking about DeAnthony Arnett"He's always recruiting me,"O'Brien said. "He just wants me down there. He was telling me how they are going through summer workouts and how he loves Tennessee."
-TheWolverine.comTennessee, Michigan State and Alabama, among others, have been the teams consistently leading O'Brien's list of favorites, but Michigan is starting to surge for the four-star prospect.
"They definitely improved a lot for me after this visit. My meetings went well with the coaches and I had a great time. I definitely rank them among my top schools.

Danny says Tennessee is still as strong as they have ever been in his recruitment and that he frequently talks to Peter Sirmon. He is not ruling out the possibility of enrolling in school in January.
