Who would those coaches be?
Weiss left an NFL OC position to come to Gainesville.
Muschamp was born there.
According to Rivals, the #Vols have 157 offers out for the class of 2012 --- including 49 to defensive linemen (25 DT, 24 DE).

It's good to see the staff recognizes how desperate the situation is right now at DE/DT and hopefully LB. If they dont address the front 7 in a big way in this class and improve the talent level at all those positions then it wont matter how well they recruit every other position.
This is the year Lance Thompson absolutely MUST step up and prove he truly is an elite recruiter. Those are his positions that need the most help and he has to be able to get out there and land some of those guys.
For starters Weiss.Dont see him staying a coord. very long....at least in college. He'll want a hc gig or oc in the nfl.
Quinn has been a dl coach in the nfl since 2003 and jumped to a new team every 2 years.Hasnt held a dc position since 2000 at hofstra.I dont know if he's looking for a hc job but he would jump on a dc pos in the nfl.
Weiss left KC to come to Gainesville. ESPN did a piece on Charlie's son having a rare disorder and Gainesville is the apparently the best place in the country for treatment.
I do not think Weiss will get along with Muschamp. I could see Weiss quitting but it won't be because he wants more money or more authority. It will be because he can't stand Muschamp.
Whoever the DC is under Muschamp is irrelevant.

D.J. Humphries has three of his top five schools in place and is deciding on the final two. The offensive lineman from Charlotte said Florida, Tennessee and USC are his top three in order now. His final two will come from among Clemson, Auburn, UNC, N.C. State and Alabama. Recruiters from all of his favorites have been in. USC's Jay Graham was at his school on the first day allowed, and Clemson's Danny Pearman has been by.

Thats both of their coord's,imo, that are in a year to year situation....unless they stink it up of course.
I'm with ya on Muschamp...I think he'll stay there till he runs out his welcome.
Dooley is good friends with Muschamp and Jimbo. They are all still pretty close to Saban as well.
The coaching fraternity is strange. That tree is still close as in regular contact (weekly). The only part that is not close is that obviously they would not hire anyone from the others staff without permission.
By the way,
UT, Alabama and Florida all believe that Auburn is cheating and are not afraid to talk about the Tigers in a negative way. Trooper is one of the main people in the cro$$hairs.
