As has been said, both TN and AUB seem to like their chances with Wright. Gribble said today he knows people at both schools and believes the Auburn people are more confident than the TN people. FWIW.

I'd be pretty confident too if I'd been recruiting the guy since early in HS, just won a NC, and have the kid visiting right around NC celebration time.

Great to hear Bryant is confident, though.

Yes. That's what I was getting at. Buie even said that himself.

When asked if Auburn told him they were full, Buie said that was the way he received the conversation he had with their staff.

Through my work, I have gotten to know some of the writers for Auburn's Rivals site and they all know I am a huge UT fan so we discuss mutual targets from time to time.

I can tell you they are more willing to admit that UT is a threat now than they ever have been.

hes probably as confident as some auburn coaches that gabe picks au. auburn better follow ut's lead and have a back up plan. gabe has been a silent to ut for a few months now and reaffirms it. im still not buying it til i see the dotted line signed. this has Jarvis Giles written all over it.

I was told that Wright's long time g/f made a trip to UT for a weekend back in the fall and that's the only trip she has made with him. Never been to Auburn, Bama, Clemson or UGA. If true, which I'm not sure it is or isn't, then that is at least a mildly positive sign.

One this is for sure, UT has the whole family in their corner and usually that wins out in the end. I'm confident, but won't be surprised by anything.
