'11 GA S Brian Randolph

forgot about him. he is in that group with Kerbyson and Smith.

IMO...after seeing the film they posted of him on Rivals...he's more in the Justin Coleman group...

Williams film blew me away as much as Coleman's did...it's hard for me to believe it didn't have the same effect on the people at Rivals...the difference between his junior and senior year is phenomenal...just like Coelman's was...then to top it off he was one of the most impressive players at the FL all star game

My money is on him, Jackson and Randolph getting 4*'s...and I also think Worley and Saulsberry will get 5.7's....I'd be surprised if Rivals bumps Carson back up...even though he deserves it

I believe Williams is getting the bump.

For those who are interested...if Williams, Randolph and Jackson got bumped to 4*'s and if Carson regained his 3rd star we would have 1449 Rivals points...

That would have us at 15th currently...but you never know how the updates will effect other teams as well

Edit: The point total would be even higher if you figured in their likely position rank bumps...but that's a little harder to peg than to just predict they'll be 4*'s so I left it out

Where can you find film of his senior highlights? I can only find his junior year...

Great news on Randolph...expected...but great all the same

Good question. I know I saw the junior year. I started looking back to find where I saw it. Thought it was youtube. I will keep looking. I know I saw one of his kick returns from this year.

I believe all that could happen...but I am also afraid Pat Martin may drop:cray:

Anybody got the scoop on the article on vq ?

Nothing new, really. Said he had a great time and his favorite part was just spending time with his future teammates. His host was Brewer. This kid may be my favorite recruit in this class.

"It went really good," Randolph said. "I got to spend a lot of time with the coaches. The visit was all I wanted it to be. I have really felt good about Tennessee for a while. This weekend it felt like home more than ever before."

"Yeah, I tried to recruit some of those guys," Randolph said. "I spent a lot of time with Rory Anderson."

Basically said he wanted to visit other schools and not as sold on Tennessee as he previously was.

Don't see your logic here...

I equated NEW to meaning that he would be coming on full time, which was stated could be happening if Smith left after NSD.

Sirmon could not come on full time without another coach leaving.

Could also mean that CTJ is moving into some other role...... Hrmmmmm....

I thought if Sirmon came on fulltime, the rumor was Thompson to DL, Sirmon to LBs and Chuck Smith out the door.

The other possibility was Joseph into the athletic department, with Sirmon coaching DBs and everyone else staying put. Iirc btw.

articles and threads on IT have Randolph initially & Ideally as Free Safety. He also says Peter Sirmon is the new Safeties Coach.

According to Andrew Bone, it looks like this was also confirmed by Pat Martin.

With this class we are boosting our secondary and D-line. Come 2012 and 2013 when Bray and the WRs hit their prime we should have a nasty d. I was skeptical of Dooley for a while, but I am on the bus now. I really like how this class is shaping up. VB

If Coach Chuck Smith were to leave, it would be completely voluntary on his part and I do not see this happening at all. Chuck Smith has really been a force in our recruiting efforts to rebuild the D-Line this year and I expect to see him here for a long time.
